Made a Mistake on My First Project and Need Guidance

I started my first knitting project yesterday and it’s a dish cloth. On the pattern it said once you made it to 44 stiches to begin decreasing with knit 2 together. However, for some reason I ended up with 47 stiches and I have no idea how. Is there any way I can salvage my project or do I need to start over? Some advice would be helpful. Also, I’ll link the pattern below if anyone is curious

Question about Sie gehen

Hello, I'm using the app Mango to learn German and I'm confused with one of the ways they use a word. They told me "gehen" means to go, which is fine, but then they asked me what does "you go" mean and they said it is "Sie gehen". I'm confused as to how gehen, which means to go, is only used as go in this instead of it being "you to go". Is there some grammar thing I'm missing? Sorry if this is a stupid question. I just started learning recently.

Husband Wants Me to Ask Questions During Fights

Hello, I'm autistic and so is my mom. This question is about something my mom is dealing with. When her and my stepfather fight, he wants her to ask questions during the fight and won't end the fight until he feels like she understands him. I'll give an example so that you can understand better, yesterday he started a fight with my mom because they didn't talk much at the movie theater. During the fight, she had to ask him questions like "how does *stepfather's name* feel about what happened?" If she doesn't do this, he doesn't feel like she understands him and will keep the fight going until he feels understood. If she tries to ask him questions like "why are you upset?" he feels like she's choosing how he feels. This can go on for hours and my mom is mentally drained after these fights. I don't think they happen often, but when they do its stressful and draining.

Has anyone heard of this before or dealt with it? I'm looking for more insight into what could be going on because her and I never heard of this before. Also, it's suspected that my stepfather is also autistic, but its not officially confirmed. I thought I put that out there for more insight.

EDIT: Thank you for the responses! I’ll let my mom know what y’all said. What y’all told me is helpful.

Hello, this may be a stupid question to ask but I want more information. I’m about to graduate with an associates degree in business. I’m thinking about pivoting to IT and earning the CompTIA A+ certificate. With only those credentials to start out, would it be a bad idea for me to get into IT? I don’t know if this information is relevant, but I didn’t earn an IT degree because with financial aid I didn’t have enough time.
