Drive through questions

Do customers not feel bad ordering at the window? Taking time to open their app and reload their card after they have been sitting in line for 5 minutes? Or just doing anything that would disrupt the flow and make them sit at the window longer? I’m just wondering because I’d feel horrible if I was the one in the customers place.

Shopping impulsively

Hi all! So, my spending is very impulsive. For example, I’ll go to an in person store and buy a lot or go on an online site and buy a lot of stuff, but I want to stop doing that. I’ve figured out if I have something else to do that gives me the same feeling I feel when I buy something but without the hit to my bank account, it’d help me out a lot.

So I was wondering, are there any tips? Something’s I can do when I’m feeling impulsive so all my money doesn’t go out of my account? Hope this makes sense! Thanks!!!

Modest mouse car freshener

Hi all! I went to the modest mouse concert recently and I was looking at the merch that was up while I was there. I bought the usual merch shirt but I saw there was a car fresher. I was so interested because no artist I’ve seen in concert has sold something like that. Because of that, I bought it. However, I am a bit nervous since the packaging says “rotten fruit” as the scent. I’m just wondering if anyone else has bought it as well and has opened and smelled it. Can someone let me know what the scent actually is? Thanks!

Desperately need help!!!

Hi all, I’m coming here in need of some help! I spend money like I make millions, which I do not at this point in my life. And I’m trying to save as much as I can so I don’t have to worry and be stressed about money related things. It’s been really bad and I desperately need help. Constantly spending money and if I’m not, I’m thinking about all the things I should be buying. It all started when I first started making my own money (getting a part time job) and it hasn’t stopped since (been almost 3 years) so I will take any and all help i can get. And if anyone has any questions for me, I’ll do my best to answer. Thank you!!!

Another question

Hi all! I had another question! So today, I was taking this customers order and he asked if we could make our teas decaf, I told him “no” because I did not think there is anyway we could do that. Was me telling him “no” correct? I know we can’t make the iced coffee decaf, so I was thinking it was the same with the teas. Am I correct?

Quick question

Hi all, I heard you are not able to work at another coffee shop (Dunkin, Scooters, Dutch Bros, etc) while employed at Starbucks. Is that true? Does anyone know why? How will they know if you’re employed at a different coffee shop while also employed at Starbucks?

Thanks!

General question

Hi guys, how do you start the process of being a “Coffee Master”? What is it like being one and are there any benefits? Is there a minimum amount of time you need to be at Starbucks before being one? (I’ve been there 6 months for reference) Any information about “Coffee Masters” will be appreciated!

Hoping for some help.

Hi Reddit! I was hoping this sub could help me more than the representatives at Uber Eats. 😅

So I ordered some McDonalds via Uber Eats, and I did not receive something in my order. So I went to the “help”
section in the all to report that I didn’t get a part of my order and to see what could be done. I was hoping that I could get that part of my order delivered since I didn’t get it. Unfortunately not, but I was notified I could get a refund. However, I was confused on why I couldn’t get the part of my missing order delivered so I went to the “speak to a representative chat” to ask someone.

I ended up speaking to three different representatives and none of them helped. In fact, I left with more questions than answers because they wouldn’t answer the questions I had. They didn’t answer my initial question of “why am I not able to get the part of my missing order delivered?” It was a genuine question, even if I can’t, I still want to know why.

I ended up being told that I will “just get a $2.00 credit to my account.” Which I am still very confused by. If I was offered a refund first, why am I only getting a credit? I don’t want both, I’d rather get the refund as that’s what I was offered first. The refund would’ve been $6.00 and some change. I asked “why am I getting a credit even though I was offered a refund first.” And I did not get any sort of answer. I am quite frustrated and I am hoping for some help from this sub, as the representatives were not helpful at all. Please and thank you!!!
