Is there a free alternative similar to Yomitan but for Android? So I can look up meaning + readings when I'm using IG, watching videos, browsing or while using Anki; something that hopefully can read plain text + OCR.

He trabajado en diversos Fondart a lo largo de los años, y si bien la verdad mi mayor experiencia es en el área de composición, producción y música para medios audiovisuales y escénicos, me interesa mucho expandir mi portafolio hacia el área de música para videojuegos. A partir de este año con el cambio de administración todo el tema de fondos está y estará infernal: reducción de presupuestos, aumento de requisitos innecesarios/inhabilitantes, limitación de temas de trabajo e investigación... así que les mando mucha fuerza y organización a todos los equipos de desarrollo
Hi everyone. I have had some issues trying to find a software that works for my specifications (Windows 11 Home, AMD Ryzen Al 7 350 w/ Radeon 860M, Integrated GPU AMD Radeon(TM) 860M Graphics). A lot of times not having Nvidia GPU and CUDA usually appears as a roadblock.
I have a video of a 40m2 outdoor space that I have tried to convert to 3d with different softwares.
What I have tried so far:
- Scaniverse: My first tries weren't very detailed, and can't input recorded video, so I'd have to come back to the place later to do other attempts.
- Luma AI: Gives a nice rendition on its web display, but the model it offers when you download it features only a small fraction of the space. Not sure why this is.
- Meshroom: Couldn't really make it work, it threw some errors and I stopped trying. I might come back to it, but reading the webpage it says that unless you have Nvida + Cuda you won't be able to access all features, so maybe I'm doomed with this one.
- RealityScan: It says it supports AMD... BUT not all of them, and my model is one of the unsupported ones.
- Colmap: I could bypass the GPU usage to do the process with CPU and it's taking forever-- literally doing it right now, so I might update later, but seeing how long it's taking I might have to abort later.
Maybe I should rely on something online, to bypass my equipment limitation?

First time using RS with my Yoga Slim 7 14AKP10, Windows 11 Home, AMD rYZEN ai 7350, Integrated GPU. When importing video/folders and pressing Start to create a 3D reconstruction, the process ends by saying it requires an Nvidia component to complete all the process, which is weird because I thought RS 2.2 was compatible with AMD. Any settings I should adjust?
I was looking into LM training and learned about Teachable Machines and a plugin available for a software I use (Touchdesigner) to integrate it inside my work, but always skeptic of involving Google more into my life
Wondering if anyone knows if the training and models I train, and their data, are private/run locally
Don't know what I pressed now, but the connectors and other buttons of my operators disappeared, and can't really find an answer as to why and how to turn it back on google.
I have had several crashes with a message saying that TD tried to autosave, but I can't find any crashes folder in my computer. From what I googled, TD tries to save them in Desktop first (I'm on Windows 11), but nothing ever appeared either there on in the backup folders.
What should I try tweak to have that working?
Every time I connect my Akai Midimix to Ableton, I have to go to Settings and change input and output for this device to "None". That way, I can use Midimix with my custom mapping, which is the only way I use it.
Besides being very annoying having to do that every time, I have had issues in the past when playing live when I accidentally disconnected it, and I have to go to Settings and go through the entire process while I'm still in the show.
So, is there a way to tell Ableton that I want "None"to be the default Input and Output setting for this device every time I plug it in?

Just wondering how perceptions on the idea of music and composition might have affected the link between the two concepts.
If I turn a clean, newly bought USB drive into read-only (following this tutorial), is it safe to assume that it won't be infected by malware (for example, after connecting it with an infectec computer) nor infect other computers afterwards?
Making it read-only being so simple makes me assume that no, that malicious software can indeed undo my process and make it vulnerable again, but I prefered to ask
