Brushing legs - never winning game.

Our boy is 3 now, we had long hair breeds our whole life but first Samoyed. I feel like no matter how much I try to brush him, he always gets compacted - like I’m embarrassed to take him to the groomer monthly because why can’t I keep it under control? It’s always where he sits. I feel like I’m driving myself crazy. We have Newfoundlands I could ignore their coat for two months and they’d be fine, the Samoyed I try to brush 2 times a week if not more, esp more when I know I’m losing. And idk, like I’m not even making a dent. We have combs, rakes, slickers, dematter and a double barrel blower.

Honestly just venting but idk how the average person keeps up with it. Even when I think he’s brushed I feel like maybe he’s not.

Is frame better than a budget tv in quality ?

I see so many people complaining about picture quality….

But if you stripped away the fact it’s matte, includes a mount, and is incredibly thin. I assume $700 would likely be around $300 — so is this tv better or worse than your average tv when you look at it like that?

Show your non concealed wired TVs

I know getting a media box in the wall is the best route but my family is pretty against it - trying to see how it looks with the wire and how other hid it otherwise

Color drench or leave white?

Don’t mind my ai going off script — original plan was color drench all trim.. did the ceiling and walls. Now I’m thinking maybe just the doors but idk if that will look dumb. Doesn’t help that mockups colors aren’t perfect.

I’m leaving windows white.. just unsure about the doors and baseboards and curious about other people’s perspective. I don’t know if all blue feels smaller or too playroom?

Matte on flat - forget it or how to salvage without whole repaint?

Used sherwin Williams flat on ceiling, matte on walls. I hit the ceiling 4 times with tiny 2x2 like spots and debating if I should fix it without redoing the whole ceiling? Or most people won’t notice?

I also have sherwin trim pain, I was going to color drench the doors and casing, but I haven’t had luck with that coming out smooth.

Outlets & Internal overflow - how close to wall?

Where are your outlets to the tank? What if they can’t line up with the cabinet?

And if you have an internal overflow, how close do you push it to the wall?

I currently have a 65g, I cut and built the stand around the outlet but we’re getting a new tank.

Red line would be eshopps m100, the blue line is their m70. I thought about moving the outlet but not sure I want to or should.

Dark greens spiral

Am I spiraling over nothing, or change the paint before drenching the room?

Color drenching the whole bathroom in BM Yukon green. I did swatches on almost every wall and it comes up slightly moody green with hint of blue — however I did a real coat today and I’m worried it’s too saturated and not really any hints of teal.

I know it could look fine but I’m feeling like I’m missing the mark. You can see the one drawer in the light is super bright green - that window sill would basically be that color, so even if the matte walls show up exactly like I wanted without turning into a black hole, that doesn’t change anything with light hitting the trim is obviously hunter green, not moody cinematic designer ish? Even if the cabinet turns out okay, the doors I’m painting too and I’m not sure if they’re gonna be too green even tho the rest of the walls will darken?

Had these assuming water warts for 12 months, this past month they got angry and started to drain. But this past week they started to spread their center into a wide gunky white wound appearance spreading and inflamed?

Urgent care did an urgent referral to derm and gave Mupirocin. I was worried for infection and necrosis?

Thoughts on scars? I’m worried about treatment options to best avoid scars

So I have two closet doors I want to hide with a panel wall, maybe fluted or ribbed. Curious about what others have done or suggest.

However the two doors are just basic house doors, and I’m worried about them being too hollow for hidden hinges (unless I can hide the current hinges with the panels).

Then I was thinking maybe it would be cheaper to just do some kind of basic plywood behind the panels? Idk. Also for context we’re pulling out carpet and putting vinyl floors and leveling before that, so I don’t think the top/bottom hinges will work. And I’ll also need to undercut the door jams, so idk if that will weaken them considering the weight of panels?

Any insight?
