I've owned my KIA 2022 EV6 for 4 years and today the 12v battery decided to die once I pulled into work today. I tried opening the door for the charger port and it wouldn't open. Then I got an error saying the key wasn't detected in the car. I tried pushing the power button with the key fob but the car stopped responding and the infotainment center display wouldn't turn on. Luckily my car was unlocked already but my car was dead. Called KIA Roadside Assistance and turns out my car still had it for free even though I bought it in 2022. I waited for an hour and no tow truck arrived. Called roadside assistance again and the supervisor said they would contact another tow truck driver. Waited another hour and decided to call AAA. There was a driver within 25 minutes and I paid for a new 12v battery. I drove home and then called KIA Roadside Assistance to cancel the tow request. Not the best experience with KIA Roadside Assistance but AAA came through. I still love my EV6 and had no issues with it until today.
