Pomegranate and Pistacho cheesecake

I really really have to learn to take better pictures. This has a graham cracker crust, mixed with 1 cup of pulverized Pistaco added. The filling it all pomegranate, then the outer ring, Pistachos. The ganache is straight Pomegranate Molasses.

Sorry that I can't take good pictures, and this is a gift, so I can't show it cut. Can anybody recommend an online photo class (using my phone)?

Strawberry Cheesecake

Very much an amature, just wanted to post a picture of what turned out to be one of my better ones.

Sorry that I can't post sliced pictures, it was a gift for a person. But, here is the recipe that I followed: Perfect Cheesecake Everytime Recipe covered it with sliced strawberries and the shortcake strawberry gel from a store.

Anybody worked with these?

I got a very kind gift from an older man. He enjoys my cheesecakes, and thought these would be a kind thing to do. Has anybody ever used these in a cheesecake? I am thinking of them just adding more intensity to the flavor. (learned to only add 1/8 tsp per cheesecake) At the very least, they should improve the flavor of no-bakes?

Flooded yard + sewer idea, need advice.

My side yard has a very low lying spot, which floods with heavy rains. I am on city sewer, which runs from my house right beside this side yard.

My thoughts are to put in a drain in my yard, metal grid over the top with a good concrete footing and surround, then tap it into the sewer on my property.

What I don't know is how all this stands, if its a disaster waiting to happen, or a genius idea to reclaim part of my yard?

I am very open to ideas.

Has anybody made Cheesecake?

I see around the internet lately recipes for Cheesecake. Before I make a huge mess and waste food and money, has anybody here made one? I want to know two things:

  1. do they require a special springpan to make, or will my current ones work?

  2. How are they compared to a baked cheesecake? What are the differences?

Copilot denied the "2026 United States intervention in Venezuela"

New to all this with Copilot, so sorry for asking a dumb question. I was chatting with Copilot, asking about Venezuela migration. Three times, it denied that that event ever happen.

3 seperate times I mentioned it, and I got about the same response each time until i confronted it with links.

Is this a common issue with Copilot? What is up with this?

Here is one good example of what happen. Notice this is the 4th (of 6) points in its arguement against it, in the second time I asked about it.

Homemade Vanilla vs. Bought?

I am considering making my own vanilla, but before I do I want to know: When baking, is there any differnce int he finished product when using homemade vs. store bought pure vanilla?

I know that in the vanilla there would be agreat deal of difference, but since you use so little of it compared to the rest of the products, what about in the finished goods, is there any noticeable difference?

How to warn a woman?

I have my answer, and changed the post to keep from any concerns about identy here in our area.

What I (with my wife) am going to do is just take the lady aside, and warn her that a very much older man (give her the name) has been asking about her in a creepy way. Also, let her know of the history of SA charges.

If she wants to know more, we will have her over for dinner, with a mutual friend to the man who has heard the things he has said, and knows of the SA charges. Then we will explain it all out, answer her questions.

Thank you to everybody who helped me here, I have recieved some very good advice. I appericate it all, thank everybody.
