Made my 2 year old a set

She keeps stealing my begleri and swinging it around. I don’t want her to smash her teeth or anything so made her a mini version that I have to pretend to play so she can pick it up.
Just enough space for her little fingers to grip but enough to try and maybe get some general skill? I think I thought about it too much 😂
I did the unthinkable and added knots at the ends though just so the light wooden beads weren’t sliding around. Anyways, baby begleri!

Versa58 Modular SAK

Mine just turned up today, and it’s so much better than I expected. You get your modules and just click them on to a de-scaled Victorinox and you’re set, you can swap and change them around too. With the mag sets and docks you can also use it as a fidget slider, which is what I wanted, or just use the modules as a slider.

Honestly I’ve wanted a fidget knife for ages, but in the UK with strict knife laws it seems an almost impossible find to have one I can legally carry with me, and with this since I generally always carry a Victorinox as part of my EDC anyway, it’s perfect.

Also, need to give the creators (Keyport) a massive kudos as I messed up on my order on kickstarter, and the team over there sorted it straight out with no hassle, super happy right now.

Simple skill/attention fidget toys, but the best IMO

4 of them.
I see a lot of sliders, and super expensive fidgets here.
Generally, I like to be active with my fidgeting, II enjoy the sensory aspects of some sliders but I need to be doing more sometimes.
A lot can be home made and are simple to make, silent and can help with attention etc.
HMU if you need a hand with anything.
First is Komboloi, second is a begleri, third is a deadeye coin (can’t make that at home, but if you want it, it’s by AroundSquare) and fourth is a knucklebone (also AroundSquare but there are a lot of cheaper versions to get started with).
Enjoy fidgeting. 👌

Fidget ring secret

So I own Lauutie, Haloo and a few others.. I love my fidget rings and love changing it up, but there is one I always come back to. It doesn’t include magnets or springs or whatever.
It’s basically called double ring. It’s waterproof, almost silent, needs no maintenance, thin and cheap.
If anyone is thinking of wanting some portable ring fidget, this is where I’d start. 👌

New set for daughters bestie

My eldest daughter’s bestie was asking for a begleri so made her this for her birthday. She helped pick the colours and everything so I might have to get her to help design more, secretly wanted to keep it for myself haha.

Nice Sunday afternoon sling

Just me and the kid having a walk and a sling, good times. Think she’s already better than me though. 😫

I asked about coins over Begleri for being subtle

I asked a bit ago in this sub whether I should try the coins. I have, I loved them, and then went on a mission and bought Pogz from EBay and everything.
So now I have two AroundSquare coins, 2 cheaper versions and too many Pogz as I thought they’d be a cool coin thing (didn’t work out).
Anyway, if you’re interested in the coin but don’t want to spend up, you can make your own donut.
Basically buy a 6mm outer frame steel O-ring and a 20mm inner frame from Ali express or somewhere and you’ll have a 32mm version of the donut.
Obviously this isn’t half as good as the oriognal but it will give you an idea whether it will Interest you for a massive fraction of the price.
I also slightly tumbled mine so it wouldn’t look like such a rude instrument.

New Haloo ring is beyond what I expected

Just got it in the post today, so much slimmer than I was expecting and at the price of about £40 I can’t complain. It doesn’t have the same feedback of a Lautie one, it feels less crisp and more rough? I can’t explain fully but for wearing I’m sooo happy, Also, Happy Father’s Day to all!

Anyone else have a walking technique?

Basically, I love trying new weird and wonderful things at home, but when I’m walking I have this basic technique so I can feel the strings around my finger but I’m generally, except for finger changes, always in control of one side of the Begleri so I don’t drop it.
