Beginner to all of this and I want to feel less alone

I started earlier this year and then quit and started again. I am trying to do this super slow and ease into it because I don't want to give up again. I have been overweight most of my life and I have tried different things that have fizzled out for most of that. I mean, I have a lot of other issues like not having much time or energy and my skeleton trying to move out. But I am doing this, even though I am starting over again slowly to keep myself from quitting again. I gathered a group of activity to do, am starting with one round and adding more because last time I started at three and kept adding stuff and honestly overwhelmed myself. I have started ordering and picking out those dodads on tiktok to try and the next thing I want is to build up my daily steps after getting a walking pad. Maybe a vibration plate, though I am not sure what that has to offer but I would love to try it for the non-weight-loss things. I have no one to talk to about this so I came here so I wouldn't be alone and it would feel more concrete! :)

Come tell me what you think of my island! There's some bells in it for you :)

I just redid almost my entire island. I wanted it to be more natural and like a park on the one side, especially since it is summer and I miss the outside because this heat and I do NOT get along. So I think I did too many trees, and I definitely have recycled the lillies I have gotten because last I checked this was half done and I had two whole stars (I have been too scared to check again). Anywho, I just wanted input from people who are way more imaginative and creative than I am. The subdivision part where my villagers and I live, that is how my brain works. Little boxes and things that match who they are outside...well, those who are staying. Anyway the pipe by the fountain will take you to the "giveaway area" with bells laid out and I will replace them, there are ABDs above the bells. I was unsure of which flair to use because of that.

Anyway! To avoid the yap-fest up there. I redid my island, I am unsure of how well it turned out, I am looking for any and all advice to make it better. I have bells if you have advice, haha. DM me for the dodo code and also if you could tell me your name/island name so I can keep up with everyone here! Thank you so much!

[25/F] I am looking for more email penpals!

Hello! I have been here a while and probably have more posts saying more about me. I am married (so definitely looking for platonic only), I have two dogs and a cat, I work in the school system and I am an online student. I crochet (though not much recently), I read, and I play some video games. I have been spending more time at home since the school year ended but I will be going back to work in August. I actually decided to have a new year's resolution this year to read more and it was way easier than I thought! I immediately jumped back in like I never stopped reading to begin with. Honestly, I am open for conversations of any kind. I can talk about the weather, I can talk about books, I can talk about games, I can talk about the meaning of life and what I think happens after death. I am definitely a yapper I am typically more comfortable talking to other females but I am trying to take a step outside of my comfort zone with that. I also am prone to responding quickly for the most part, but the time between is no problem for me! If you think we would be good penpals, send me a dm or a comment and I will send you my email! :)

Almost finished with Throne of Glass, would love someone to discuss it with!

I am honestly struggling to finish this book because I do not want it to be over. I actually returned Kingdom of Ash and waited to check it out again just to put it off. But now I am around 65% and overwhelmed at the thought I just don't have anyone to talk about the series with! And next I plan to start Crescent City, so I am ready when the new ACOTAR book comes out in October!

24f, adulthood keeps getting more weird

I am an online student, I work with special needs children, I am married with two dogs and a cat. I am into the "woo woo" side of life. I am incredibly overwhelmed and suddenly the loneliness became very loud. I like to read and play the sims. When I say play the sims I mean create long and dramatic stories and family lines. And I am a very picky reader but once I find something I like I cannot put it down. I would love someone to bounce the bad feelings off of when they become heavy, share what new wild things my sim dynasty's head has accomplished while being both grand duchess and the single mother of 7 (10 total, some have passed of old age and she is still a young adult) grown children all still somehow in college. And if you are also interested in spirituality, I got my hands on a Lenormand deck today so it is more straight forward than tarot and am excited about it and would love to talk about that too. I miss being a teenager and having my phone go off because our phones were always in our hands, as silly as that is. I guess they were right, it really was those dang phones, because I miss the feeling of being an important part of that other person's life.
