“Vanishing twin” ??

“Vanishing twin” ??

Officially joining the group! After a MMC in June 2025, got a healthy/ reassuring ultrasound yesterday at 7weeks, 4 days. Due April 2 with rainbow baby 🌈:,)

but I wanted to share my ultrasound because I had a “vanishing twin”. My doctor confirmed I ovulated 2 eggs and implanted both, but one sac has a healthy little bean measuring perfect with a HR of 134bpm, and the other sac was empty. She said the second one must’ve stopped developing very early and it could mess with any genetic testing if I had some done but otherwise wouldn’t be a problem. She said my body should just absorb the other sac? Has anyone else had this? I thought it was interesting!

AMH decreased by more than half in <2 months? Please help

Hi I haven't actually been diagnosed with DOR as I have my blood work results back but haven't had a follow up with my doctor yet, I hope it is okay to post here I feel you are probably the most knowledgeable group to ask. Im 34 and my husband and I have been TTC for 19 months now and are just starting to be seen by a fertility clinic.

I am stressing myself out so much. I had CD 2-4 blood work done to investigate infertility about 2 months ago (May 4th) and numbers looked good: AMH 1.47 and FSH 6.7. Then switched fertility clinics (got a referral to one much closer to my home town) and so was asked to have blood work repeated. Did CD 2-4 again on June 29 and AMH is now 0.73 and FSH up to 17.9. All blood work was done in the same lab. I don't understand how the FSH could be less than half what it was less than 2 months ago?

Dog limping 8 months after TPLO surgery

Hi my dog (5 yo gsd) had a successful TPLO surgery to left back leg in September of last year. After the restricted recovery period got the go ahead that ever looked good on her X-rays around Christmas. All has seemed good as we have pretty much gotten back to regular activity (walks, playing with other dogs, fetch with her chuck it) and all has seemed great. Then the other day she jumped on my bed and then wouldn’t put any weight on the leg after. She seemed okay after that but today same thing happened when getting into the back of my car, instantly holding left back leg up and wouldn’t put weight on it. Now an hour later she seems to be walking around normal again.
I’m so scared that something with her plate? The healing period was so long and I am so scared of having to put her through it again.
Should we just avoid strenuous activity and jumping and just keep an eye on it for a while or does this need urgent X-rays?
Couldn’t get ahold of my vet today.

Help me name my new kitten- needs to incorporate “Jam”???

Adopting this kitten:) The shelter had 6 kittens from a litter that they dubbed “Breakfast Kittens” they all had breakfast food names like Benedict, Oats, Pancake, Waffle. I love that theme and want to stick with it but my kitten is “Jam” which I feel like is a bit incomplete for a name. Looking for any ideas:)
She’s sort of a pale grey tabby mixed with a dilute tortoise shell (some pinky/orange spots)
