Extra syllables
Why-uh? Why are young people adding extra syllables to the ends of words?! I just don't understand-uh. It sounds so incredibly stupid-uh.
Does anyone know where this originated?

It's not fully fluffed out yet. I just can't wait any longer! I have so many gorgeous vintage ornaments screaming at me to be hung.
These are random, but each item appeals to me in a way that I can't quite describe. For example, I love certain shades of pink plastic--it's the specific color/texture/form combination. I also collect pink lids of all kinds.
I can't believe this is so common. Are people aware this is incorrect or are we THAT stupid now?
(In case someone who doesn't know this is wrong is reading this, the correct thing to say is either "I saw" or "I have (I've) seen".)
This is a serious question. How can I go about finding an heir to my vast collection of vintage Christmas ornaments/decorations? (The picture is to attract readers and only represents a fraction of what I have.) I have no children and my nephews are not intersted in the slightest. It seems I can't find anyone who wants them or who takes me seriously when I say I'm seeking someone I can leave them to in my trust. I'm only in my mid 50s, so not planning on dying anytime soon. But I'd like to find someone young enough right now to still have plenty of time to enjoy my stuff after I'm gone. What I don't want is for my things to end up in the greedy hands of a reseller. I'm not here to solicit an heir on Reddit necessarily, but I'm also not opposed to being dm'd if you think you might be suitable. (Bare in mind that I and my decorations are in California.)
What I'm asking is does anyone have any suggestions for how I should go about this? Thanks!
This is Mushroom. He passed away on January 02, 2013. I still cry over losing him. But I'm happy to share his beautiful, sweet face so you can appreciate him too.
I'm sure this has been asked before, but I'm curious about this year in particular, because it's been such a difficult one in so many ways. I'm wondering if people are planning to decorate earlier this year, or the same as usual, and when that date is.
For the past few years, I've started to bring out my decorations on October 1st. It takes me a good 2+ months to put everything up because I have that much stuff. I would seriously consider starting sooner if my husband would be okay with it, but I think I'm already pushing it with him by starting before Halloween.
Today is the 24th which means we're only 5 months away from the best day of the year! (I consider the magic and anticipatory joy of Christmas eve to be more exciting than Christmas itself.)
Hi there! I'm sorry if this is a duplicate posting. I didn't see it come up after my first try, so maybe it needs to be approved by the Mods first?
I was just wondering if anyone knows the age or any other info about it. It looks to me to be from the 1960s, but I really don't know.

I needed a desk chair and found this at a local antique store. Sorry the photos are a bit messy. I tried to cut out all the boxes and misc debris surrounding and on top of the chair, but my ability and technology aren't quite good enough. Hopefully you can see it well enough. I can't find this model online. I'm curious what year it's from and what it might be worth.
Does anyone know anything about this chair?
Hey fellow Grammar and Apostrophe Police! I have a half-joking and half-serious idea. Why don't we set up a "GoFundMe" to raise money for billboards around the English-speaking world (or at least the U.S.) to enlighten people about some basic grammar rules. The contents of the billboards could change every few months. Personally, I'd like to start with the correct usage of apostrophes. (It would have to be printed in large letters, so we couldn't include a lot of info per board.) Or, perhaps, we could have billboards with different "lessons" on each of them, throughout a metropolitan area.
Thoughts?
Hey Guys! Can I get some feedback on my couch? Does it look MCM-ish to you? (I'm on a limited budget so I improvised.)Thx!
I posted about this a while ago but here we are again. How can a person not hear how awkward it sounds to use the wrong article?!
