I get a pop-up error, but I find no errors in the log file, at least that appears w normal log settings. The error occurs when the video has no embedded subtitles. I can manually search and find using my KODI subtitle setting (OpenSubTitles). Thoughts?

I got the basic 20gb EN plan to stream a particular TV show unavailable on TB. As best I recall, all were cached episodes. Sadly after only watching only 4 or 5 episodes (typically 720), I wasn't seeing ANYTHING being scrapped under EN. I logged into my account and was surprised to discover I'd exceeded the 20gb plan limit. Nievely I had thought streaming was not a gB hog like downloading was. Guess I was wrong...

While I'll admit to not understanding much, I've used trakt for years to just keep track of what I've watched. Given that's really all I need, does KODI's watchlist function provide that basic function? I'd like of course to transfer the trakt history over, is that possible? Please educate this old fart.

While addressing an issue yesterday u/kodifitzwell had me check/address the Settings within the Context Menu. While I had know of these settings, I hadn't a clue as to their function, nor what the values represented.

Perhaps someone (or Fitz) cares to explain the background on these slide scale numbers and their use. If only to educate this old man's gray cells.

I don't often access via web page, so was unaware of site changes. My account is used for tracking purposes only in KODI/POV. However I had need to edit my DROPPED show list, a function I use to perform in FLAM. The login had me enter my email, then waited for email reply... which has yet to show up... 2 hrs and counting. I've since made the edit via UMBRELLA's Trakt management function. Having tried unsuccessfully all the possible emails I might have originally registered with cause me some concern over long term access to my 5+ yr old account history. Thoughts welcomed, be kind if I've missed a step.

EN has given me access to a few series not available on TB. However, I've been experiencing the stream stopping, often every 1 or 2 minutes w a 30 second pause. With a 150+mb connection, I'm guessing it's the servers, rather than POV. Just wanted to check other users experience.

First off, I'm not a torrent savy user, so my understanding of this is near zero.

But, as I find missing series/seasons of popular shows, how do we go about adding them to TB?

At times a episode will have a torrent but it has no feeders, even fewer show season packs.

For example, the popular (now discontinued) NatGeo series "Dr. Oakley, Yukon Vet" has only a few episodes from the last season 12, while seasons 1-11 are entirely missing. RB had everything cached, most as season packs. Of course that's now unavailable.

Ideally someone with the skill (and time) could search the torrent sites... if there was a listing of missing stuff. Too much to wish for??

Or, I'm guessing, I'll have to learn the whole torrent process.

As a untrained Torrent user from RD, now I need to understand how best to proceed getting cached content.

Some shows we watch (like The Incredible Dr. Pol) currently have no cached seasons/episodes, but a few episodes are uncached but with 0 feeders. My limited understanding is, without seeders there's no point in me trying to download a torrent. Is this how things work?

In the bigger picture of building up the TB cache of missing material, how can I as a non-techie help?

As many of us are new to TB, and as we find missing cached files... this old man needs help. I find several entries of uncached items, but am totally unfamiliar with the process. Is there a 1,2,3 guide, or is this process better left to the technicians?

Just need clarification about how subtitles are displayed and or found in POV.

I have accounts on OpenSubTitles, do I need to do the WYZIE API? (BTW, the WYZIE api assignment link isn't currently working.)

Is there codes in the scrapped details that indicates that the file as has embedded subtitles?

The last few days have been a challenge. For over a decade, my lifestyle based on XBMC/KODI has kept my retirement years very enjoyable. Viewing what I wanted, whenever, was perfect. The technical challenges kept my "little gray cells" busy, was but rewarding. Now... I fear the "free lunch" is drawing to a close. Please reassure this octogenarian there's still light in the tunnel.

I'm having space issues and would like to delete some older versions of addons, etc.

Is that OK to do?

Is there a utility to aid in doing so?

Like many of us this weekend, I've been switching off FLAM and onto Umbrella. Everything is up and running, now I'm hoping to fine tuning the UI for personal convenience. In FLAM, menu items could be removed or rearranged, I'm not finding that flexibility in UMB. It isn't a must have by any means, just nice to have. I haven't looked at POV, perhaps that's an option. Thoughts/insights appreciated.

I've had issues with Trakt maintaining my watched history, which is all I use it for. Considering switching to just keeping it local via FenAM. However, I've got 7-8 yrs worth of shows/episodes indexed on Trakt.

Million dollar question, is there a way to automatically build that history locally? TYIA
