Instead of pooping on the remake, how do you think it could have been improved?
Don't get me wrong. In my eyes, it is an unrecoverable dumpster fire. But enough people have made posts about that already.
I'm curious to hear some original ideas on how the remake could have changed the original to work better as a Netflix adaptation. I don't really care about how scenes could have been more accurate to the original, but I'm curious if you had any ideas on interesting narrative changes that might have worked better as a live-action.
For example, allegedly the original creators wanted to make iroh evil in this adaptation (which had apparently been an early idea for his character in the original). I don't really know how this would have worked, but it's interesting to think about and what scenes could have been impacted, and how it could have made things more interesting story wise.
What changes would you have made in the live action to help it stand as it's own product?
Which aspects of Korra would you want to see more of in "Avatar: Seven Havens" ? Also, which aspects of Korra were you not a fan of and would not like to see again?
I don't mean like character cameos or callbacks. This is more about things that you liked or didn't like about the show. In terms of themes, writing, world building, ideas, execution of concepts etc. I'm really curious to hear your thoughts on this as someone who wasn't the biggest fan of korra, but appreciated certain things - like multiple attempts at writing an engaging nuanced villain, as opposed to the big bad Ozai (not necessarily a bad antagonist but I appreciated their attempts at adding more nuanced villains).
Which pieces of regulation content are the crew most excited about?
I was curious as to which pieces of content the regulation crew enjoy making the most nowadays. For a while they really only had the podcast, but after watching some supplementals and regulation gameplays, it sometimes sounds like they're enjoying making that content even more than the podcast which is great. Andrew seems to have a lot of energy in tomadachi life and Geoff seemed super into Roadside etc.
Are there any specific regulation series (regulation gameplay in particular) that the crew seem to be the most excited about making? Thanks for any recommendations.
I've been searching for a specific moment and now think I might have imagined it. Help me r/theregulationpod you're my only hope!
I vaguely remember an episode where Andrew does one of his stunts, and completely drains him. He then at some point says something like "I think we should end" because the flame has all but died inside of him. But I really can't seem to find it.
If Andrew can't finish the fight the fight for whoopi in that stream, I believe that he needs to apologise properly with this
Before you consider buying a year subscription, keep in mind that they will continue to make the app worse overtime.
At this point you should not have any faith in them as a business. Imagine caving in and paying, just for anothet dogshit update tomorrow that will make the app even more unusable for you. Clearly they are never going to listen to you, so don't trust them with your money. They will never act on the side of the consumer.
