Howdy! I’m 41 non binary (afab) in inner north portland (Mississippi ave area.)

I’m into black and death metal, noise, electronic, goth, post punk, ect. Art, craft. Being outside and in the water!

I love going to small towns and exploring- checking out pioneer museums and cemeteries. Going to all the history museums and learning allll about the local history. Dr. john Mcgloughlin is my boy! Love walking cemeteries and then looking up information about the people, especially the pioneers.

Big fan of quaint lil small towns festivals.

I plan killer roadtrips and day trips and go on them quite often. I have a whole list of things I want to do/places I want to go.

I also love outside. I paddleboard and swim CONSTANTLY in the lakes and rivers (i start in april!)

I don’t drink or do drugs and i’m more of a one on one person vs groups (tho small groups can be ok. )

I do like to go dancing at Hive and Coffin Club, though.

Looking for friends that have a zest for adventure and a taste for the dark and weird with good communication skills and emotional growth. I’m audhd with a chronic illness, so people with experience there, always a bonus! <3

Howdy!
For some unknown reason, my car died overnight (all lights off, ect. only guess is the hatch didn't close properly and was trying all night to open and close??) and I had to jumpstart it with my little jumpstart external battery box...but when I did, the alarm started going off, which really just flusters the fuck out of me, on a busy street, ect.

Did i do something wrong? Is there a way to make it NOT do that? Any help is greatly appreciated.

The vet charges $94 each time and my cat needs it semi regularly. The vet mentioned groomers can do it cheaper.

Does anyone have any experience with feline anal gland expressions via a groomer or anyone cheaper than $100 each time?

My neighborhood corner store (which is more of a paraphernalia and drug store than convenience store) has a sign up that says “Plain White Tees $12”

Why? I’m tragically unhip- is this slang for something more worth $12? Is there a reason why someone would spend $12 on a single, white tshirt from a sketchy corner store?

Hi y'all. This rant is not AS specific- it applies to living with any chronic illness, but AS is the flavor I have.
I have been so disheartened lately by humans in general. Non ill people lacking the experiences we have and not respecting our time.

I keep making plans with people, only to have them flake and not even let me know until middle of day. It sucks because I have to spend a lot of time in bed, saving up energy so that I can do things only to have people flake on me time and time again. I live in a city where it has become part of the culture, which sucks.
I just wish people could understand the sacrifices we make to make time for them. For people to have empathy and respect our time. It is hurtful and frustrating for a non ill person to be flaked on, but extraaaaaa for us Chronically ill folx.

Howdy! Just got back from a roadtrip to hell’s canyon and zumwalt prairie - both have VERY rough gravel roads with tons of holes, ect (one i hit pretty hard lol whoops.)

The windshield wiper fluid low indicator came on and I figured it was correct, because i used a lot on the trip- but when i bought some and filled it, it hardly took any.

The light went off, but came back on during the second gravel road excursion, even though I had not used any fluid.

Thoughts?
No leak that I can see (i’m home now and checked the ground.)

Howdy! I’m veggie and looking for good restaurant/meal (take out) recommendations for after a colonoscopy. I’m not going to want to cook after so anyone have a really great and tasty favorite gentle dish out there?

Eta: i’m in nopo, procedure is in nw but i’ll have my best friend as an aid for the day who can travel anywhere to pick it up.
