My neighborhood corner store (which is more of a paraphernalia and drug store than convenience store) has a sign up that says “Plain White Tees $12”
Why? I’m tragically unhip- is this slang for something more worth $12? Is there a reason why someone would spend $12 on a single, white tshirt from a sketchy corner store?

Hi y'all. This rant is not AS specific- it applies to living with any chronic illness, but AS is the flavor I have.
I have been so disheartened lately by humans in general. Non ill people lacking the experiences we have and not respecting our time.
I keep making plans with people, only to have them flake and not even let me know until middle of day. It sucks because I have to spend a lot of time in bed, saving up energy so that I can do things only to have people flake on me time and time again. I live in a city where it has become part of the culture, which sucks.
I just wish people could understand the sacrifices we make to make time for them. For people to have empathy and respect our time. It is hurtful and frustrating for a non ill person to be flaked on, but extraaaaaa for us Chronically ill folx.

Howdy! Just got back from a roadtrip to hell’s canyon and zumwalt prairie - both have VERY rough gravel roads with tons of holes, ect (one i hit pretty hard lol whoops.)
The windshield wiper fluid low indicator came on and I figured it was correct, because i used a lot on the trip- but when i bought some and filled it, it hardly took any.
The light went off, but came back on during the second gravel road excursion, even though I had not used any fluid.
Thoughts?
No leak that I can see (i’m home now and checked the ground.)
For OVER A DECADE this building (interstate and ainsworth) has had paper on the windows. I made a uturn SO FAST when i saw the glow of fluorescent lights.
