Found these buried under my old patio while putting new slabs down.

In Glasgow, Scotland.

Edit: Accidentally put ID as flair.

Returning player from 2023.

I'm decently experienced at sot. I am mediocre at combat but excel at all other aspects of this game.

Anyways I'm asking for advice since a lot has changed. What are things that are extremely important for me to know?

I've already encountered the harpoon gun which I have mixed feelings on. One it's a great way to break the stalemate of just repelling borders by watching ladders but also it's annoying as hell because now it feels like no matter how vigilant I am I get boarded anyways.

I want to play the game but I feel bad for the Expies

I do genuinely want to play the game but I'd feel bad leading my poor fluffy friends to their deaths. I would feel really bad.

How do you guys get over the I'm so sorry feeling?

Also I've heard they talk when they start dying which makes everything worse.

90% ran usage no mods at absolute minimum

So previously my vintage story lacked a lot so I decided to delete it and reinstall it. However I'm still getting over 90% memory usage with no mods at the absolute minimum.

Is this normal? I was going to mod the hell out of the game and as before I usually ran it with 100 plus mods.

The problem is is if I add any mods I have a feeling it's going to start lagging really bad because I'm already scraping the bottom of the barrel.

Severe Lag. Freezing ever couple seconds.

I have a lot of mods I've tried disabling them all but it still lags even when I have zero mods active. The only mods that I have that affect train generation is terra pretty watersheds and rivers.

So far it doesn't crash it just says vintage story is not responding. I've only had it crashed once and this was the report.

I have no idea what's happening.

A stinkpot (common musk turtle) I caught at my local pond while fishing.

Thankfully he was not hooked he kind of just grabbed on to the hook and held on but was not stabbed. He still was not happy about being captured though. He was released after I took this photo.
