Programable driver/controller for single color LED?

I have a strip of 24V high density LED that I want to make some DIY aquarium lights from.

Obviously I can order some variable voltage USB single color drivers and set them up on a timer but these are LED'S!

Let's be futuristic!

Is there an existing driver I can use (or misuse) to either program at the computer or even on-integrated-screen, a fade in and out period in addition to programming a 24hr schedule?

I have an old aquarium light that had this feature (well the fade in/out was set at 15 minutes) and I may tear it open to see what it has inside- there's a good chance it's all potted though.

I would be willing to design and have produced a custom PCB to complete this project, and I am asking here to get advice instead of going to AI.

Even if you can just give me a basic rundown of parts I'd need I can probably put it all together on my own with a breadboard first.

"Cleaning" outdoor samples- has anyone tried "Reverse Respiration"?

I treated a clump of moss from the carpet that grows under my propane grill with "Reverse Respiration" (basically, soak it in club soda- I did like 1-2 hours) after soaking and rinsing to get the milipedes and centipedes and what not out.

I put half in a springtail culture, and half was split between some fish tanks after letting it soak in a clean empty vase for a week.

No unwanted hitchhikers have been noted, although a hardy plant seedling could conceivably be hiding in there.

How do you all treat "wild" moss?

(Please collect moss responsibly)

Any idea what this aquatic bug is?

I took a water sample from a hollow in a tree and these guys and some sort of worm (maybe nematode) are rife in there- I was really checking to see if the mosquito dunk worked (this tree was putting off hundreds of mosquitoes a day in my front yard) and I found hundreds of these guys. Flat, the larger ones I caught are 4-5mm long, I think I saw larger in the hole.

Edit to add: best guess is Scirtidae- Marsh beetle larvae.

Finding local ant keeping groups?

Or how does everyone get updates about local nuptial flights? I've been lucky enough to stumble on some camponotus queens, but I doubt I'll be as lucky with others, particularly smaller species.

I have the small 5ml fish tank test tubes hooked up to nice 20mm test tubes with textured inserts and a more sufficient amount of water but none of the seven have moved. The new tubes are in the dark, the old tubes are in some light but direct.

They have been in the tubes over 2 weeks, I don't have my microscope working though so idk if they have eggs still or tiny larvae. At least one has stuck her head in the connector between the tubes but no movement so far of brood into the new tubes.

Definitely an alate, but is it a Camponotus Pennsylvanicus male alate or Tetramorium Immigrants queen alate? Or at least, those are my two best guesses. Best guess is just over 1/4" long, excluding wing tips.
