Unable to Add Any Debit/Credit Cards onto my Apple Wallet
I've had my iPhone 17 since December, and when I initially had the phone I was able to use and add cards only my wallet. About 3 months ago I got a new card, and was unable to add the card. Since I didn't know what may have cause the issue, I tried removing a card that was already there, and adding it back, but that too was giving an issue. I then did a full reset and remove all cards. I've not been able to add a single card back onto my wallet. Note, this is affecting Visa and Mastercard.
I did all troubleshooting with Apple, and they confirmed it's not on their end. They referred me to my banks. They mentioned that there might be a block from Visa/Mastercard's end, but the only way to resolve is through one of my banks.
The first trouble shooting tip I saw, was to wait 30 days and try again. This didn't work. I've periodically tried after the initial 30 day wait, and it's the same exact error.
I've gone to my banks, but there pointing the finger at Apple. I've told my banks that this needs to be escalated to Mastercard/Visa, but they give me the same canned response, and say it's not their issue.
I tried calling Mastercard directly, but the phone lines go silent after I enter in my card number. There seemingly isn't a way to speak with someone. Tbh, even if I eventually do get through to someone, I'm afraid that they'll say they won't help me as I'm not technically their customer.
Am I basically screwed? I'm tempted to see if one of my friends can add my card onto their device, but worried whatever is effecting me will also effect them.
Note: I'm located in the US, and have never had an issue in the past with my wallet.
