Reputable places to paint car

Hello everyone, I want to repaint my car to a different color, I want to know where are reputable garages to do so. I have a family friend who got their car repainted previously and had their compressor replaced with a bad one and they only noticed later on. I don't want anything similar to happen to me. I want a place that's safe for me to do so.

I would appreciate your replies, thank you so much.

University student abroad, planning to start a career in the Philippines

Hello everyone, I hope everyone's doing great. Sana may mga offers na kayo. I just wanted to understand the internship/graduate program landscape in the finance field in the Philippines.

A little bit of information about me, I'm currently a third-year university student majoring in Banking and Financial Technology. I have done three finance internships in MNCs, two of them are big corporate companies while the other one is a bank. I've also interned in a startup but it's for a non-finance internship. I've published a research paper, former student council VP in university with over 8k students, however hindi pang laude GPA ko in my curriculum (US) but if you compare it to PH curriculum, cum laude ako.

Question is, would it be a good strategy for me to work in a big-name financial institution here in the Philippines? If we're reaching for the stars, I want to work somewhere that has to do with investments, derivatives or risk management. Considering the salaries of graduate programs, it would only cover my rent, utilities, and transpo. My parents have no issue in providing for my expenses but it doesn't seem sustainable in the long run so I want to know if it's worth the investment.

As far as I know rin, prestigious companies mostly want to hire people from the big four universities? where does that put me?

Is it worth my time working in the Philippines so I can go back with that company's name in my CV? Is the tradeoff of a lower salary worth it for the big-name? What happened to those who have worked in MNCs in the Philippines? Are you satisfied with your position?

University student abroad, planning to apply Big4 Philippines Graduate Program

Hello, I hope everyone's well. I've been lurking around this subreddit and noticed that a lot of people are aiming to work in the big 4 for the name. I'm no different.

I'm currently on my third year majoring in Banking and Financial Technology. I plan on applying for the big 4 in the country I'm in right now (Qatar) and in the Philippines. I've currently interned for 3 MNCs, two of them are accounting roles. As per experience, satisfied naman ako sa mga big-name brands na pinag-internan ko however only one of them is a financial institution, yung iba just big corporate companies lang. However, I want more.

If we're looking at sweldos, parang hindi sustainable for me mag-work sa pinas. I'm looking into the graduate program that alone might just be my rent, utilities, and transpo. My parents have no issue naman in providing for me hence why I am considering doing a graduate program here.

The only question from me, is it really worth it? Spending 1-2 years still being dependent on your parents. Do people consider working in the big 4 an investment in the long run? I'll definitely go back abroad after my time here.

Where does it place me in the job market 5 internships later?

Greetings everyone, I wanted to talk about my current state. I major in Banking and Fintech, I'm currently in my third year approaching my fourth next Fall. I live in a small country, the job market in where I live is so bad, it's unfathomable. The cashier in the place I'm currently interning at graduated in Chemical Engineering and has an MBA.

So far I've done three internships. 2 of them are MNCs, my third MNC will be this summer. One is a small hotel chain (Summer 2025 - Finance Department Intern). The second one is in a startup (Winter 2026 - Sales Intern), the one I'm currently in is a global private school firm (Spring 2026 Finance Department Intern), then after this one I'll be interning for a bank (Summer 2026 - Corporate Finance Intern). I'm doing these on my own and I have to take a mandatory internship under my curriculum at the end of my fourth year which will all add up to five.

Extracurriculars is that I'm my university's current council Vice President and I've published a paper on macroeconomics.

I don't want to struggle finding good paying jobs, will I have a hard time with my current stats? It's brutal out here.

What laptop do you use for work? Looking for recommendations

I hope everyone's doing wonderfully in this subreddit. I was wondering what laptop do you guys use for work and would you recommend it? The applications I'll be using ranges from MSoffice, python, BI, and just your usual casual work. I'm in fintech and I also have to do some accounting work. I'm looking for a laptop below $1000. I've used both windows and macOS laptops and I personally prefer windows but I'm also looking into mac because they have better battery health overall and tends to last longer.

Qatar graduates from 2023-2026, where are you now?

Greetings, everyone. I hope everyone is doing wonderful. I just wanted to express my slight anxiety on the current job market, my friends' parents are getting laid off, people I know have been unemployed for a while, I need to know what happened to the people who graduated in Qatar the past 2 years.

I'm still a third-year finance student, approaching my fourth next Fall. I want to know any advice from people to land a job in our current job market. So a little information about me, I'm on my third internship right now, I have my fourth secured as well this summer. I still have to do another internship required by the university on my last semester therefore I'll be graduating with 5 internships. (3 MNCs, 1 start-up so far) I've part-timed in another MNC and a government sector. I've also published a macroeconomics research paper. However, due to juggling through everything it has affected my GPA and I'm no longer a candidate for honors.

I've applied both fairly and through wasta, 100% of the time I get into the internship/job through wasta however whenever I apply fairly I tend to get lost among the other applications. I'd say I roughly only get 2-4 replies and 1 offer for every 20 I've applied. However, I can't help but feel like maybe I'm incompetent because it's so hard to find companies that get back at you and I'm only getting into jobs through connections. Don't get me wrong, I can recognize that I'm in a more favorable position and I am eternally grateful. I just feel like I'm not good enough for other companies (the ones I want)

Questions for graduates:
1. What was the experience when looking for a job?
2. Will it hurt to not graduate with honors?
3. Does GPA matter more than internships?
4. Any tips on finding work after university?

Your answers would be of great help, maybe we can all learn from eachother so we all secure jobs.

Does anyone know a good place for a moroccan bath for men? I need a place that's both affordable and provides good service. I have chicken skin in my arms and deep scrubbing helps easen the texture.
