This might be a local issue, but hope someone can help

As I have said, we just went from a '17 touring L+ to a '25 limited.

When we drive past a specific location (Gilbert Rd between Baseline and Southen in Mesa AZ) our van beeps at us. It is just one short beep/ding like a low gas warning. We haven't seen any light or message associated with the beep.

Has anyone experienced something similar.

AFAIK we are battling 1000 (12/12). It happens going north or south.

I am going to do some more investigating on Friday when I have some time.

I might regret this, but here we go...

Unloaded my cursed 95k mile 2017 touring L+, (replaced/fixed oil cooler, spark plugs, head gasket, AC compressor, AC evaporator temp sensor).

Has either a bad CV boot or a bad tie rod, and needs engine mounts and tires soon.

Dealership gave us well above it's value, and I got a 2025 Limited w 40k miles.

Hope this one lasts longer 🤞

I hate this POS

Four months. Almost $8,000 in repairs on my 2017 Touring L Plus with only 95,000 miles.

93,400 miles

  • Oil cooler
  • Spark plugs
  • Ignition coils $2,000

94,500 miles

  • Pulled both cylinder heads, sent them out for inspection and milling
  • Reassembled engine
  • Replaced thermostat
  • Replaced cracked coolant reservoir
  • Replaced both timing chain guides (worn)
  • Replaced left and right timing chain hydraulic tensioners
  • Replaced serpentine belt and idlers (noisy) $5,200

And now...

95,000 miles
Waited 2 weeks for parts for an A/C evaporator temperature sensor. After replacing the sensor, they discovered the A/C compressor (possibly the clutch) had also failed.

It's going to be 117 tomorrow, and temperatures inside a vehicle can hit mid-130s...

I wish the kicks would stop soon

Balloons in Falcon Field approach path

Someone lost their balloons. They ended up the approach path to Falcon Field heading north. There were at least two, maybe three.

Does anyone know when the new latitude (sorry Dell Pro) refresh with panther lake processors might be released?

HS220 saga

I have about a dozen or so Kasa plugs and switches throughout my home.

I have to replace an ES20M, and decided to go with the less expensive HS220.

I could not get the switch to join to my account using my Pixel 9 with Android 16, and Kasa app version 3.4.510. I could not get it to join using my older Pixel 6. Ended up having to charge/boot my Pixel 4 with Kasa app version 3.4.451.

With the newer phones, it would find the network, say it is connected successfully, but then fail.after 5 minutes or so.

Has anyone else had this experience?

Glad I keep my old phones hanging around.

I have posted this before, but I took my Latitude 5580 out today. This was one of the last great designed Latitudes Dell has had in the past decade. The keyboard and chassis feels so much better than tne new design.
