I know you can become a licenced notary in the U.S in less then 3 months and under $100. Are there other licenses/degrees that are cheap and quick to get?

Thoughts on the platform to remove the presidency?

When reading the Workers Deserve More policy plan I read this “Abolish the Electoral College. Replace the President and Supreme Court with an executive and judiciary chosen by and subordinate to Congress.” Now in itself removing a direct democracy voting system isn’t insanely radical, seems to be like electing a PM in the UK. I just don’t see how it’s more democratic or better than a normal presidential election if we removed the EC. Does anyone have a good reason why we should do this? (Or if you hate it why we shouldn’t)

Would another census be good?

The last time the DSA did a census on its members was in 2021 back when we had about 90k members. In the last 5 years we’ve gained 30k hovering around 120k members (I’m using Wikipedia so info might be off) so I was wondering if anyone else thinks it’s time for the leaders to do another survey. The last one found that the average member was a collage educated middle class white person aged 30ish and I’m interested to see how that’s changed.

Am I insane for this?

If any of you follow my life is an RPG on TikTok you will know who I’m talking about, but he’s a self proclaimed “anarco-socialist” who made a video replying to a comment that said “how do you support socialism when it has failed a lot in history” and his response was to being up Nordic countries. He got dealt hissy in the comments that people were pushing back on that. I replied to a comment he made where he got hissy being very respectful whee I said that there not grat examples because they extort the globes south. I was then blocked. Whats crazy is that nowhere in his video does he mention the exploitation Nordic countries do, if he pointed out the flaws while mentioning the pros is be fine but it was straight glaze . I’ll link some photos of the interaction I had to see the sheer insanity I had to deal with. I feel like I’m not wrong for trying to bring up valid criticisms of these social democracy’s.

(Spoilers Extended) Daemon and Rhaenyra are very dumb (books and show)

In my opinion a large reason why the blacks lost the war was because they repeatedly fucked over the two dudes with massive ass dragons. If Ulf and Hugh didn’t turn cloak then the war might be salvaged. I’m going to be talking about the show because I just watched the most recent episode. But Daemon constantly harassing Ulf ticked me off because it’s a terrible idea to piss of a dude with a fucking dragon whose loyalty might waver. Another problem is that Dansln denied Alys Harrenhal.
Here’s a solution that solves everything, Ulf is a prick with high ambitions so marry him to Alys and grant them Harrenhal, this should satisfy him because the castles huge and he gets a hot wife. You can tell the Freys that their deal is invalid because Jace never confirmed it with the crown (the winter wolfs already crossed so it dosent matter much) Hugh seems to be a much more reasonable man so we can give him less. A small seat like Holyhall should do consider they sided with the greens. Alyn seems to be doing this for honor, but we can still legitimize him and his brother.
Boom, now Ulf and Hugh have reasons to stay loyal (say that they’ll only be granted access to the castles when the wars over) and they have sufficient rewards. I bet if Daemon stopped being an ass things would help to.

It is possible that Hitler had a micropenis and it is confirmed that he had only one descended testicle

(Edit: Hitler having Kallmann syndrome is also disputed) Geneticists tested a blood sample from the sofa on which Hitler was reported to have shit on when he shot himself. They determined that he had Kallmann syndrome cause defects in the development of sexual organs at puberty, issues include micropenis and malformed testicles. A medical report of his confirmed he has right-side cryptorchidism, so we know that his right testicle did not descend into the scrotum. Weather or not he had a micrpenis is speculative and many historians reject the validity of the claim, the same can be said for him having Kallmann syndrome

(Spoilers Main) how would the dance of dragons gone if Aegon and Rhaenyra switched places.

Let’s say that Aegon is in Oldtown visiting his brother and Rhaenyra is in Kings Landing visiting her dad with her kids when Vizzy T kicks the bucket. How do you think the war would play out? Because now Rhaenyra is on the same playing field as the greens. They both learn about the death at the same time and are forced to call allies together.

(Spoilers main) The Tyrell’s 3rd option in the war that would win the entire game.

After the death of Renly the Tyrell’s seemingly had 2 options, join Stannis, the man who killed their king. Or bend the knee to Joffrey. But there was a 3rd option they did not take, one located in Storms End. They could have declared Edric Storm Renlys last true heir after Stanni’s treason. Married him off to Margaery to maintain the alliance between the Stomlands and Reach. Edric is young (around 11 at the beginning of the war) but this is a benefit and a negative, while they won’t have a warrior king who cuts down foes by the dozens. Edric will be much more susceptible to a regents influence (mayhaps his father in law Mace?) which will breed more Tyrell control.)
If the Tyrell’s follow this plan I see things working out well, they have the superior numbers to Stannis, all they had to do after Renlys death was march to Storms End with the Bitterbridge host and defeat Stannis. Due to the sheer numbers difference (around 75k to Stannis’s 20k) I image many of the Stormlords who defected to Stannis rejoining the Tyrell’s again. Edric was a well liked child so I don’t envision too much opposition to his crowning.
And after they secure Edric the rest should be a cakewalk, they have more men then practically every other faction. All they need to do is march to K.L and take the city.

(Spoilers Main) Edrics brothers.

Something I didn’t learn until today is that Edric has two half brothers on his mother’s side named Alester and Renly. This does make me wonder how well he gets along with the two of them, if he’s even met them at all. Same with his mother Delena. I image that he does not see the 3 of them that often
