Trying to set it so that L1 is my mode shift button for the left trackpad to be a Touch Menu but every time I exit the mode shift button selector it gets toggled on. And it's not some UI error either as L5 is still behaving as mode shift.
This happens occasionally, maybe like once every half hour or so but I'll get some stuttering then after that popup. Haven't done an iperf test yet, but I know my Android TV box can do 250 mbps over the Wi-Fi (that was the max doing a standard download speed test and the max on steam links connection test). This is my setup.
Streaming Server: Apollo
Streaming Client: Artemis
GPU: 9070XT
CPU: Ryzen 7 9800x3d
RAM: 32 GB
Ethernet: wired
MTU: 1500
Router: U7 UDM
Connection: Wifi 6 5ghz
Android TV: Onn 4k plus
Codec: AV1
Bitrate: 35 mbps
Been having this issue where steam appears to be crashing or just stops running randomly while streaming. From my Artemis client I launch directly into big picture mode. When steam does crash the game stream stays active, though without steam input my controller stops working.
Been trying to get Apollo/artemis working on my 2025 Onn 4k plus but the result is always either a black screen or a still frame of my windows desktop. I can still hear the sound come through. I have a 9070 XT so AV1 should be possible. Trying to stream at 4k60 with HDR. Steam link does work with the AV1 as well, but I wasn't happy with the performance there. Some pretty bad frame skipping and like half a second audio delay.
Edit: Ok, pretty dumb fix. Playnite and games were still launching on the primary display. Once connected and the virtual display was active went back to my computer and disabled the other displays. I wasn't looking at a still frame earlier, it was just my wallpaper.
Was previously giving an estimation of September
Just set up steam link on my ONN 4k Plus and it feels like games are getting a lower frame rate or skipping frames. I have the bandwidth limited to 100mbps, connection test shows the ONN 4k Plus is able to maintain a connection up to 250mbps. GPU is 9070XT, CPU is 9800x3D, streamed resolution is 1440p and AV1 is enabled. Not seeing any diagnostic issues.
Started replaying black flag for the first time in a decade and it's been a lot of fun, but I don't recall the sun or the moon being so bright that the whole screen becomes white from the bloom. Tried turning God rays off as well as turning off windows HDR, still blinding.
