Why do I get the ick so fast with guys?

Do guys get icks from us too? Like do you see a girl mispronounce smth or laugh weird and just never recover?

So I get the ick from guys over the TINIEST things. For example,

- wrong grammar, "your" instead of "you're" (pls never speak to me again)
- twist moustache thinking you’re cool (ew)
- tiny spit bubble while talking which is normal but I can never unsee

And if I try to ignore it?? it replays in my head.

But w girls? barely happens. I can overlook everything.

So do guys get icks from us too?? or is this just our curse??

Pls tell me I'm not alone 😭

Also I’m 100% straight so don’t come at me with all that LGBTQ stuff

Boys, can we talk? You really don’t know what we want. Let me educate you.

Genuine question: do you guys actually know what attracts girls? Because based on every conversation I've had with my friends, y'all are way off.

Here's what you think we want:

· Your car
· Your bank balance
· Your gym gains
· Your "alpha" energy
· Your ego on full display

Here's what we actually want:

  1. Emotional intelligence. Can you handle a conversation without getting defensive? That's hot.
  2. Respect. For us, for strangers, for service staff. How you treat everyone says everything.
  3. Effort. Plan a date. Ask about our day. Remember small things we told you. It's not hard.
  4. Loyalty. Not "talking" to 5 other girls while claiming you want something serious. We notice. We always notice.
  5. Humility. Confidence is attractive. Acting like you're God's gift? Instant turn-off.
  6. HYGIENE. Shower, deodorant, brush your teeth. The bar is on the floor and some of you still trip over it.

And one more thing—PLEASE ask questions.

"Hi" "How are you" "Good morning" and then... nothing. That's not a conversation, that's a weather report.

Why aren't you curious about me? My passions, my opinions, my weird thoughts at 2am? You want to talk but you don't know how. Ask something real. Dig deeper. Show me you actually see me, not just my profile picture.

Why is Minar-e-Pakistan full of creeps?

Lahore is absolutely magical, the food, the culture, the old city vibes. I'm obsessed. Heard a lot about the wealthy/open-minded crowd there and honestly most places lived up to that.

But then I went to Minar-e-Pakistan.

And that's where things got weird 💀

I'm born and raised in HK so I don't wear hijab yet, something I want to do in the future but it's tough in a non-Muslim country. That day I was fully covered in desi clothes, just no scarf. And the stares were insane.

Guys were pointing at me. Someone took a picture. One asked why I wasn't wearing hijab. Never experienced this in other cities of pak, just here.

The confusing part? I saw plenty of other girls in Lahore without hijab too. So why was it such a big deal when I was there??

Not hating on Lahore, genuinely loved it. Just need to understand why Minar-e-Pakistan specifically attracts this energy. Anyone else deal with this?? 😭

born and raised in hk but want to make pak friends

I'm a Pakistani girl born and raised in Hong Kong. My fam and I visit pak all the time because we’re genuinely obsessed with it. But honestly I don't have any Pakistani friends apart from my cousins, and most of my friends here are local HKers, so I'm just looking for other Pakistanis who'd be down to chill, introduce me to stuff, or adopt me into their group lol, where do I even find y'all?

Fell in love with Islamabad but how do people afford to live so well there

Just got back from a trip to Islamabad and I'm completely sold. I was born and raised in Hong Kong, but Pakistan has always been home in my heart. The thing is, I know the economy back home is rough, average salaries are nowhere near HK levels, yet walking through Islamabad, so many people seem genuinely well-off. How are locals making it work? I'd love to earn and live in Islamabad. Any practical tips on making the move from abroad?
