So I still hate mowing....

But this makes it a lot more tolerable!

Still planning on planting barley after I assemble all the needed implements but for now this doesn't suck.

And the perfect way to finish the evening.

John Deere 12A loaded up and made it home

I am hoping to grow barley on my little slice of heaven so I found and picked up this 12a. It's going to be a huge project but finding one where I live has been a challenge to begin with so at least this gives me a starting point. Worst case is I get a new piece of driveway art!

Anyone have any belts (canvas and drive) they want to sell? Or manuals or other parts? Or a restored one?

Need to clean them up still

Need to clean them all up still but after 20 years I have enough for all 3 cars I want to put them on! (I have 3-5 more bases not pictured, hence the extra caps)
The shinny ones are by far the nicest and I paid for them but they are going onto the proper car, the other set are going onto a year before R/T that I might put my spare set of flairs on and the last set will be on my '68 Newport that I have cop car wheels on.

Trivia time, what car are the nice ones and the not as nice ones going on? 🤔🤔🤔 (bonus point for what car are they sitting on tight now for the pic)

Found 1/2in!

I found the set of snapon wrenches in grandpas tool box; it was missing the 1/2in. Today I found one at the pawnshop and it is almost an exact match for the set! 1959 date code vs the 1956 date code on grandpa's.

Looking forward to using these for years to come.

Hot C body summer!

Been way too long since I cruised the '68 Newport. So it's gonna be a hot C body summer!

I have had this Newport for 20 years, rebuilt the 383 when I was 19, replaced the carpet and fixed all the little things. It fired right up today (after getting oil pressure and pre filling the carb). Needs tires and good look over but I can't wait to cruise it with my wife and 3 year old!

Sneaky e39 😉

Just finished rebuilding the entire cooling system on the daily 540 and my wife decided it was a good day to wash (most of) the fleet. Only the E36M3 got missed and the e53 was already back in the garage at photo time.
