Regime change!

Art is incomplete without politics.

I used to be a blind follower of the party of hate. Fortunately I did not have a voter ID then, so I never voted for them. But still took too long to open my eyes, I wish the same for everyone else.

Be brave. Stand for your fellow citizens. Love your country and your people, not your government or politician.

Jai Bharat! Inquilab Zindabad!

King Poros of the Indians - Original Artwork

Digital painting on photoshop, note the dyed facial hair (indigo and henna). Post battle, the left shoulder is bandaged, stained slightly with blood. At this moment he declares to be treated as a King.

Surrender of King Porus - Original Artwork

A two-page spread from a webcomic I am making.
After the Battle of Hydaspes, Alexander sits in full regal attire a mix of Persian and Macedonian royal imagery surrounded by his top generals. Porus sits alone, he does not stand nor does he bow, but has finally decided to negotiate instead of continuing the fight. Ambhi of Taxila can be seen as the mediator/negotiator despite being a regional rival to Porus. Another greatly important historical figure can be observed, mentioned by Plutarch , "when he was a stripling, saw Alexander himself".

also has pickled cucumber, tomato, and lettuce.

Chicken Butter Masala

maybe too much masala made the color too rich, but it was incredible. Normalize roasting whole spices and grinding them instead of using powdered masalas.

Why didnt the Marathas intervene at the Battle of Palashi

The Marathas had been invading and plundering Bengal and Orissa just a few years earlier until they signed a peace treaty in 1751 to collect tax and have a puppet ruler at Orissa. The main reason Raghuji Bhonsle invaded that subah 5 times was because of its riches and political instability as such wouldnt a war between the EIC and the Nawab (with the prime minister's betrayal) cause any concern at the courts of Nagpur or Pune?

Is it because they were busy in the northwest (even though the battle with Durrani would not happen until '61). Are there any writings of presepective from the Maratha side about the EIC getting involved so heavily in the richest region of India at that time?

Shivaji Maharaj and his Marathas - Thragg and Viltrumites panel redraw

Saw this art trend going around, and got the idea.

Design inspired from the Gandharan soldier sculpture from Bharhut. This is my imagination of the young to be king, as a wandering mercenary in North western India, travelling and learning from Chanakya.

See no evil, Hear no evil, Say no evil - this proverb never sat right with me. So I decided to reimagine this as I think it should be.

Look out for evil, Be alert for evil and speak out against evil!
