So, I found a 2022 Severne Dyno 85L locally for only 350€. Visually, it looks in pristine condition. The seller is very honest and told me he is selling it because it feels unusually heavy as he owns some similar boards to this. He weighed the board bare (no straps, no fins) and it came in at 8.0 kg. The factory spec for this board should be around 6.4 - 6.5 kg. I weight 63kg, 170cm tall and was looking to get this board for more choppy high wind conditions.

He swears there are no cracks, no dings, no soft spots, and he has never touched the vent plug.

Also, unfortunately I can't really go get a look at it up close as it's quite far from me.

I am going to call a local specialised repair shop in the morning, but until then I want to hear your thoughts.

A couple of weeks ago, I asked you guys for advice on my HB kit (Okoume body), and your help was very useful. I went ahead and stained the guitar, and it turned out great (in my unprofessional opinion). I swear it looks better in person...

In the original post, I was thinking of using a polyurethane sealer, but I changed my mind and decided to do a Tru-Oil finish since it's more beginner-friendly and due to the fact that I dont have a painting booth.

The problem is, I'd like a smooth finish, so I need to use some clear grain filler, but I've heard about grain filler mixing with water-based stain. Can I use Tru-Oil as a sanding sealer? Will the grain filler/Tru-Oil give a yellowish hue to my guitar? How should I proceed?

P.S. I've also stained the neck black, on which I'm planning to only use Tru-Oil.

I tried replacing one of my fog lights on my E36 (EU 1997 316i sedan) but left the lights on and the other light went out. So I’m guessing I blew a fuse. According to the diagram, the fuses and relay should be located exactly where I circled, but they're not there. Also, the guy who sold me the car told me that the lights were factory-installed.

I'm starting my first guitar kit (Harley Benton SG style). It has an Okoume body (as seen in image 1) that I'm planning to stain. I am hoping to create a high-gloss, dark purple burst finish, as seen in image 2 (I know that one is a maple top, but you get the idea).

So, I have some general questions about this project, including:

• How much will the natural color variations in the Okoume wood affect the final look of the stain?
• Does anyone have any experience with Clou Pulverbeize (water-soluble powder stains)? It is the most accessible water-based stain for me. I desided that I'll be using red, blue and black Angelus leather dyes which are more well documented.
• What kind of grain filler should I use, and at what stage of the process should I apply it?
• What type of clear coat/varnish would you recommend for this?
• How long should I let the stain dry between coats, and how long before applying the sealer or clear coat?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
