1 year urethra burning

Hello,

29F This all started basically after a UTI July of 2025.

Took antibiotics and the burning stayed.

Have treated ureaplasma parvum with negative testing now.

Had bladder fulguration of trigone area (months back) cause cystoscopy showed trigonitis or something but nothing changed symptom wise.

I have urethra burning all day every day. Only symptom. Sometimes better when bladder fills, worse when bladder is empty and after urination.

But the burning is there all day.

Diet DOES NOT make any difference. Alcohol etc doesn't trigger anything.

Urologist said we have only Lyrica to try and nothing else.

I told him about pt and said that its a waste of time and to not read what AI says.

Has anyone here been in the same situation as i am? I need advice! Itd already difficult here to find any doctor who has any knowledge about this stuff.

Thank you.

Tired battling this for 1 year.

Hello all,

Long story short,

29F

Last year i had a bad uti, a yeast infection and also ureaplasma parvum.

I took antibiotics for uti and ureaplasma and also yeast treatment.

After first yeast treatment I was good. I also took biolact ovules vaginally for ten days and I was good to go.

Then I got yeast again and took treatment for that. Never been the same since.

I tested for yeast and different strains via pcr multiple times and was negative.

I checked twice for ureaplasma weeks/months after and was negative.

Also checked via PCR all stds and also different kinds of bv negative again.

I tried vaginal and oral probiotics with no change.

Current symptoms are:

Itching at 4,5,6,7,8 o clock.

Redness on and off at 6 o clock.

I also see on 4,5 and 7,8 o clock small cracks. Not very deep. Like the ones you have when hands are dry (I'm not dry).

Disharge are semi normal. Sometimes thicker white and sometimes i see disharge that looks like wet paper tissue.

I don't know what to do.

I looked into cytolytic vaginosis or vaginal lactobacillosis. Doctors here have now clue. I found one immunologist that thinks is vaginal lactobacillosis and he gave me augmentin for 7 days and haven't tried that yet.

ANY ADVICE WOULD BE APPRECIATED!

Thank you.

*P.S. IF ANYONE HAS A SUGGESTION for a good gyno or vulva specialist around Europe that helps with more complex cases please let me know (we don't have that here). I'm so desperate and willing to travel....

Chronic clitoris - urethra burning (29F)

Hello all,

Long story short,

After a uti which resolved with antibiotics (~1year back) I was left with chronic clitoris - urethra burning.

Treated ureaplasma, had bladder fulguration for trigonitis, now all tests negative and the burning remains.

Burning starts upon first morning urination and lasts all day. Also i have burning when aroused (without touching the area).

Could pt be the way to go?

Here where I live the knowledge about pt for these kind of issue is almost none existent.

I think i have found 1 pt center that may know something about that.
