We Melodians are eating well today!

Just comment a brawler, any brawler, because I have THOUSANDS of ideas for brawler backstories I wanna share!

The animation was lowkey a banger, and when I saw Wendy staring into a mirror, I thought “hey, that’s lowkey what Melodie would do! So I drew this, lol!

This is for my Brawl Stars au, Astralette. Just note that not all brawlers will remain in their land, some will cross over to void, this is just the region of origin.

Remember my what if Nori met Sirius post from awhile back? Well, I made a continuation, only with a hint of mother and son angst. This is between Kaze and her tired and manipulated son, Nori, now known as Kusari.

This is Galactic Rave, the third trio in Tunes Town. The Rave itself is a popular hangout place for brawlers, and has three brawlers working for it. Crystal, a young aspiring J-pop idol and streamer, who works of special effects, X-Tra Jay (or simply Jay) the owner of the Rave and highest DJ, and Vivia, a retired Popstar, who one day wishes to make her grand return to the industry, but simply serves both refreshments and amazing dance moves.

Fun fact, this isn’t my actual theory as to why Tara kidnapped Kaze. I actually have something deeper for her, but that’s a story for another time.

Melodie was mentioned in the newest brawl stars championship promo video of South Korea! I’m lowkey celebrating rn, and may I just say one thing, MELODIANS UNITE!!!!

Melodie is given a galactic themed skin, and we get to design it. I want this to be her first supercell make idea, because galaxy and Melodie would be awesome!

IT’S BRAWL TALK!

Dani: meet Sync, a mysterious roller skater who lives his life alone.

AJ: and Azure, a cute, Pearl-obsessed squid with dream to be a jellyfish! There’s also an updated vision for Records!

Marzio: new update to both Records and Prestige, a special zodiac themed season, mystical masquerade skins, and th- sudden static, which is followed by the flickering of the Starr Park symbol, being reached for by a mysterious hand

cut to Marzio and AJ, who were stargazing on a hill. Well, AJ was stargazing, Marzio’s just on his phone.

AJ: as he looks through a telescope woah, look at that! Marzio, isn’t the night sky amazing?

Marzio: while doomscrolling huh? Oh yeah, sure, whatever you say.

AJ: thumbs down Marzio, then gets back to stargazing woah, look, a shooting star! Make a wish! in his mind, but we can hear it I wish for a better version of records, since they’re extremely bland right now!

Dani: floats down in a Lunar Piper dress, holding a star wand your wish is my command!

RECORDS UPDATE

Dani: you know how records have pretty much nothing to make them unique, other than just earning two simple starr drops? Well now, they give you something we needed in the game for the longest time; LORE!

Marzio: every time you complete a record quest, you now get a new Starr Fragment! Starr Fragments are special information about the brawler it’s for. You can learn their relationships with others, their origins, and plenty of other things. Once completed, you can unlock the Starr File for a brawler, which is basic information about them!

AJ: and the final fragment always leads back to the crème de la creme himself, th- cut to static again, along with a gloved hand, holding a gem, which no longer shined, and a small male chuckle can be heard.

Marzio: okay, that’s all fine and dandy and all, but that isn’t really that-

AJ: to Dani I got another wish then! I wish for a cool new brawler to complete a trio!

Dani: once again, your wish is… waves his wand, summoning both headphones and a pair of roller skates GRANTED!!! With our newest emo boi, Sync!

NEW BRAWLER, SYNC!

AJ: Sync is the final member of the Sk8 Beats family! He’s an introverted teen who is often see skating while listening to his favorite Kpop music.

Marzio: as a kid, he and his older sister lived on the streets of Starr Park, stealing what they could to survive. But after his sister was taken from him, leaving Sync with a bad eye, street smarts, and heavy childhood trauma, he’s wanted nothing more than to settle the score.

Aj: with his super, “Synced Up,” Sync fires a stream of music at enemies in a reverse cone shape, dealing the best amount of damage to the brawler who gets struck by the edge.

Dani: and with his super, singing a bit he’ll be “Your Idol” normally by disconnecting his headphones, and hypnotizing his enemies for 5 whole seconds, leaving Sync a free attack! There’s his first gadget, “Heartbeat Harmony,” which heals 1080+ damage dealt to Sync.

Marzio: or simply go with Sync’s other gadget, “heart twirler,” a summon three music notes around him that shield him from damage. With his Starr Powers, he gains either the power to pull enemy brawlers towards him, or heal allies with his basic attack.

Dani: Sync comes out on ……. For early access!

NEW BRAWLER, AZURE!

AJ: hey, Marzio, you gonna make a wish?

Marzio: okay, fine. Dani, I wish for one million dollars!

Dani: on it! waves his wand, as a million dollars worth of pearls fall on Marzio, while AJ looks on in absolute horror.

Marzio: crawls out from the mountain of pearls, even spitting some out WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?!?!

DANI: shrugs

Marzio: looks at a light blue pearl, then smiles at the camera our newest brawler for the update is the second member of the Sea Monster Aquarium Trio, our newest epic marksman, Azure!

AJ: Azure is an adorable squid living peacefully in her own enclosure. But with a small secret; she dreams of becoming a sparkly jellyfish! So, she collects sparkly objects she finds, mostly pearls, to bedazzle herself and extra her sparkle. Azure’s basic attack is where she tosses an oyster at an enemy, which bites down and deals major damage over time.

Marzio: her super has Azure toss a pearl bracelet she made, intending to make a friend. Too bad the bracelet is too tight, and chokes the brawler while freezing them in place. Her first gadget is “Pearl in the clam,* which has one of the oysters spit out a Pearl that acts like one of Najia’s jars, dealing 10% more damage than the actual oyster!

AJ: there’s also “Bubblefish,” healing Azure by 15% by drinking a soda bubble! Her first Starr Power is “look at this!,” and grants Azure the ability to attack in water, and “Too Tight,” making her super much tighter than before! Azure is set to release on …….

ULTRA SKINS

AJ: Now I wish for some awesome skins, Dani! GIMME!!!

Dani: your wish is my command! With… ULTRA SKINS!!! After unlocking Prestige 1, you start a different type of road called the Ultra Path, which gives you some amazing rewards!

Marzio: first, you get a new profile icon, then spray, followed by the pin that has the brawler transform into the final part of the path, an awesome Ultra skin!

Dani: our first Ultra Skins just so happen to be for some of the first few brawlers in the game; there’s Shotgun Shelly, Wildheart Nita, Oneshot Colt, Bullseye Bull (see what we did there?)

AJ: there’s also Highscore Brock and Technical Jessie. We moved the prestige Title and icon to prestige 2 as a special gift.

Marzio: Oh, and if you’re already past Prestige 1, don’t worry, you immediately get the rewards. And you still keep the icon if you already got it.

ASTRALETTE SEASON

Marzio: wait wait wait, hold on, why are we on a hill anyways? What’s the deal?

Dani: well, make the wish and you’ll know!

Marzio: what, so I get hit by a meteor or something?!

AJ: c’mon, Marz, just wish!

Marzio: arms crossed I refuse! Dani begins to poke him with his wand, annoying Marzio FINE!!! sighs I wish to know why we’re on a hill at night.

Dani: easy! It’s for our newest Astralette Season!

Marzio: dumfounded Atral-wha?

AJ: now wearing a starry cloak Astralette! And btw, I got the drip from your wish!

Marzio: okay, fine, whatever. Explain this… Assalette…

Dani: the Astralette season is an alternate universe in Brawl Stars, having its own global version of the zodiac skins from China Brawl. Twelve stars were sent across the galaxy by each Zodiac Deity, and 6 out of twelve were found!

AJ: first off is Aries Maisie, the first Brawl Pass Skin for this season, coming with Scarlet Ram Maisie and Diamond Maisie!

Dani: there’s also Taurus Chuck the golden bull, Gemini Lola the rainbow twins, and Cancer Clancy (The sign, not the condition) the crab of crystals!

AJ: and with them is our second Brawl Pass Skin, Leo Draco, coming with both Amber Lion Draco and Peridot Lion Draco. And finally, the beautiful maiden of butterflies, Virgo Kaze! You can earn four of these six skins with the Astral Well.

Marzio: elaborate.

AJ: very well; whenever you win the new Spectral Duel Gamemode (more on that later,) or get your daily win rewards, you earn an Astral Coin, which can be thrown in the well one at a time.

Dani: you’re then given three of fives wishes to choose from, each a mystery till given. You can get Coins, Bling, Buffies, Brawlers, icons, pins, and most importantly, skins, especially the new Astralette skins! And who knows, maybe we’ll give the other six Zodiacs as skins in the future.

Moonlight Masquerade

Marzio: Astrology’s nice and all, but I’m in the mood for something… fancier… a star glows above his head, indicating that Marzio has a plan hey, Dani, I got a new wish!

Dani: okay, let’s he- hey! Marzio grabs Dani’s wand, and teleports the group to a ballroom, as Marzio is now wearing a fancy masquerade outfit.

AJ: well, this is… new!

Dani: hang on, where are we?! And gimme my wand!

Marzio: the most mystical season of this update, Moonlight Masquerade! Something we wanted to do for awhile, and finally got the chance!

Dani: takes his wand back by force our skins for this season starts with the host himself, Ruby Ziggy, along with his brawl pass variants, Sapphire Ziggy and Emerald Ziggy.

Marzio: and with him is the beautiful Masked Tara, now more masked than before, and her variants, Selene Mask Tara and Queen of Hearts Tara

AJ: En Garde Kenji never leaves his blade behind, even at a party, and the elegant royal himself, Azul Peacock Crow, is once more an honored guest.

Marzio: but there’s a mysterious group of shadows coming to this masquerade for unusual reasons! First is Moonlight Thief Melodie, a beautiful yet wicked mistress, along with Phantom Damian as the muscle and surprising elegance.

Dani: and the mastermind to this devious plot is Eclipsing Sirius, who might have tricked Melodie and Damian for personal gain.

NEW GAMEMODES

Dani: now for some gamemodes! Our new temporary game for our Astralette season is Spectral Dual, where players will be put in two teams of three to either fight against void creatures and protect the star shaped crystal at the center, or try and destroy it on the other team.

Marzio: there’s also Boss fights against Damian, Melodie and Sirius. They’re not as massive as other bosses, but they’re slightly more difficult till you understand the patterns.

BUFFIES

AJ: it’s time for buffies! Our newest set of buffies is for the mystic Wanders Trio. Tara’s gadget when buffied now reveals enemies for 4 more seconds, and her other gadget summons three shadows by aiming a card. They also are much bigger and have more health when buffied. Not much has changed for Tara’s Starr powers, but when buffied, they just either have more damage or healing when summoned. And Tara’s hypercharge, when buffied, gives her tarot cards 10% more range, but 15% less damage.

Marzio: now for Gene! His first gadget is now amiable, and once buffied, can damage walls and deal a bit more damage, while his second gadget got a full rework. Now he spawns a spirit, which deals damage to enemy brawlers. When buffied, this spirit now also heals allies. His Starr powers are simple when buffied: his first one can now heal brawlers up to 548 health, and his second is reworked to make his magic hands travel 12% faster. And as for Gene’s hypercharge buffie, now his attack freeze brawlers for 0.2 seconds

Dani: and finally, Sandy! His first gadget was reworked, now doubling reload speed when asleep, and when buffied, makes him immune to attacks. His second simply makes enemies unable to attack for 1.3 seconds when buffied. As for Starr powers, they’re basically the same, except buffied by damage once buffied. Sandy’s hypercharge buffie grants Sandy the power to heal allies with his sand.

MISC SKINS

Dani: okay guys, what else?

AJ: well, we do have extra skins, like Samurai Starr Nova, who’s now less weeb and more wise.

Marzio: and Shadow grasp Edgar, Trap Chest Darryl, Ladybug Eve, Rocking Lumi and Rolling Stu,

AJ: and can’t forge- suddenly, there’s flickering, as the brawl talk suddenly switches to animation…

?????: holding her arm it started so simple… I didn’t know much about the Starr Family’s name, or the dark history it had. Me and my siblings were just eager to take over the park. Of course, Pops chose his favorite son. Then there’s me. I found love in a man at the robot factory my sister worked for, and even met his young apprentice, who had all these dreams for a better Park. Things were normal, I even got to marry the man of my dreams! Then I truly saw my brother’s greed once he learned about the incident. Where others saw the damage and pain from the gems, my brother saw… potential. So in that moment, even his own wife gave up on him, and I had nothing to do but watch my brother take the unaware from reality, and force gems into their systems, morph them into the most unnatural things he could create… he forced these people he called brawlers into an endless dream. the mystery woman is soon revealed to be Belle That’s why SPUDE was made… to finally wake them up… and finally save my son…

So, as many of you may know, I ADORE Melodie. Kinda a Melodian round here. And Jae Yong is amazing too! Now then, speaking of the Karaoke trio, what do you guys personally want the final member to be like?

Simple meme for a cute couple!

After the new event came along, I decided to create a new skin for Melodie. And as the sole Melotara shipper, I gave her a skin to match with Shukuteki Tara. As the second in command to the Shukuteki clan, Melodie acts on with elegance and charm, all to be with her mistress.

This is Brawl Stars Astralette. I know we might get Zodiac skins soon, but I wanted to do my own story. Each skin is based around a skin from the Chinese server, and is meant to have its own lore and story!

Back at it with another Melodie skin! This time, we taking it to clowns! (Or rather jesters in this case lol.) This is my newest skin, Harlequin Melodie!

This here is my WIP Pisces Melodie skin for something I started last year. Since we might get zodiac skins next update, I decided to just put this here for now

You may be confused, so let me explain a bit behind this: I headcanon Tara and Sandy as fallen deities, with Tara being the deity of Shadows and Foresight. I also ship Melotara for absolutely no special reason. I drew a what if scenario where Tara reveals her face to Melodie.
