I’m looking for alternate ways to collect experience orbs. I don’t like vacuum hoppers all that much, but I wasn’t able to find any alternatives on my own through google or NEI.
Any suggestions?
A guy I play with went on a hiatus and I’m a bit stuck waiting for him, so I’m holding off the trip to the moon until he comes back (neither of us have went).
I’m mostly leaning towards magic, however tech isn’t off the table either
Things I’ve already done/found:
- infinite oil, benzene, steel, iron, gold, glass, salis mundus, nether stars
- cetane boosted diesel and ptfe lines
- primordial pearls and primordial boots
- auram generators (personal favorite btw)
- big aura nodes
- portal to the last millennium (also pretty neat)
I’m low key eyeballing Automagy-inventarium as I’m not sure how long I’ll have to wait till AE2 and this sounds like a funny alternative, if nothing else
Anyway, I’m curious to hear as to what everyone has been up to, especially if you weren’t really rushing for AE2. Meta or not - anything goes
Half question/half rant:
The IC2 (pic 1, 5 dots) transformers seem to be a scam? After failing to get it to work multiple times, I’ve tried out the GT variant (pic 2). Well, what do you know! Merely switching the one transformer for the other - magically fixed all of my problems!! It must have taken me at least 3 failed attempts on separate days before I finally tried the other one and now I’m extremely frustrated
Moreover, the fact that the IC2 version is the one recommended by the quest book somehow makes it even worse!!!
**Anyway** Did anyone have a similar experience, or is there some ancient LIFehAcK to get this junk to work properly? I’m this close to throwing the ones I have into a pool of lava
