What would people prefer too see as a cover
Just wondering as I have recently tried my hand at digital art. I know very basic. Almost no one looks at over my old ones which got reasonable traffic. Wondering if just unlucky timing or not what people look for
I've been working hard to finish a new product. This my first attempt at a one shot but also my first time trying to create my own covers art.

This my first one where I made the cover art myself. So looks very basic but made me proud I took the time to learn and created it.
It is amazing how much effort goes into making an adventure publish ready.
I am.making one in spare.time and the amount of reading and polished read and adjust read and reword to make sense for everyone not just me....
Take hat off to those who make them professionally.

In the process of creating a homebrew brew one shot and make it ready for others to play.
Decided to try my hand at creating a cover myself for it.
If interested, should be available in late September for download.
But my main reason to is to get any honest opinions on my cover beforehand.
I publish on DriveThru rpg and last night I just cleared 200 down loads for the month.
Way more than I thought. But I even got paid for a few of them. About 4...

At.moment it is a mix of subclasses and magic item lists. But my next project is a full one shot I hope to have complete by end of September.

I've been doing some home brew stuff, but using Ai for my covers... now little established feel like trying my own. Can I get amy advice which people think is better.
Have heard canva and gimp are.good options.

Well had my first today. I have 4 small dnd products I published (under Masked Haddock) and for first time all four looked at in one day... also pushed past 50 views not much... but baby steps!

Premise is two clashing subclassed. Taking a different view on ways to treat a problem.
Straight up, I need to say I used ai to create the cover and as a tool to work on my language, so remained consistent with dnd. Writing is not my best suit. But i am creative, and all concepts and Hanoi's are my own.
I am hoping to get a few comments/downloads from people so that I can work on my new few ideas amd create better products as I have so many ideas I wamt to share.

My products will always be PWYW. so have at it 😁
I do have plans for a line of these, also a long with dm supplements, a one-shot or two, and a WHOLE NEW CLASS, including its own magic system and 3 subclasses for it. But those are for down the track.
