Restaurant Recommendations Between SW Houston and Katy

I'm meeting up with some friends from Katy and am looking for a restaurant that's roughly in the middle of Katy and Southwest Houston so it's not too much of a drive for both of us. Please recommend affordable places where you can sit and chat. Thanks in advance!

How do I say this in the nicest way possible?

Sorry for the ominous title. My roommate and I (both incoming college freshmen) are on our apartment complex's roomsync app, and since we signed up for a 4x4, we needed two more girls in our group. At first, the only person I matched with was a girl, whom I'll call girl #1, who had 1 roommate, which meant our group would be full. I reached out, and we talked for a few days, and she seemed okay. My roommate was also fine with her. About two days ago, I matched with another girl, whom I'll call girl #2, who also has 1 roommate. She reached out to me and asked to be roommates. I've been talking to her for the past 2 days, and she's also nice, but I have better chemistry with her than with girl #1. My roommate and I talked about it, and we agreed that girl #2 and her roommate are the better choice, but I don't know how to break the news to girl #1, especially since she already sent the request. She also seems pretty introverted, so I don't think she has multiple options like my roommate and I do. For those reasons, I feel like an asshole for rejecting her and leading her on like that, and matching with girl #2 and leaving her on read seems even meaner. She's also nice, and I still want to stay in touch with her since we'll be living in the same building and going to the same college for the next year. I get that this might not be possible. How do I let her know I found another roommate in the least meanest way possible?

I'm a senior, and I have an AP exam at noon in a few days, but it's also gonna be my last day of school, so there are a bunch of last day of school events for seniors that day that I don't wanna miss, and they're all at the same time as my AP exam. I can't do the late testing date either because it's at the same time as the senior trip (which is required). My parents are ok with me not taking it, but I'll have to pay a $40 fee if I don't, and if I pass (strong IF) then I'll be able to get a few hours out of the way in college (the AP is slightly related to my major but it's not something like AP Calc or an AP science). Should I give up on my last day and take it?

I don't know how well-known this is internationally, but in the US, there are a bunch of stereotypes about each US state and the people who live there that are often joked about (e.g., Alabamians are incestuous, Texans are redneck cowboys, Utahns are all Mormon, etc.). Are there similar stereotypes about each German state? If so, are they commonly used in jokes in real life? Is there any sort of discrimination that happens due to those stereotypes?
