Am I wrong to break up with my girlfriend because she doesn’t touch me?

To be honest this is more of a “would I be wrong” as I’ve not broken up with her as of making this post. Some context. I’m 24M and she’s 24F. We’ve been together 6.5 months.

We’ve had our fair share of relationship problems and arguments but 2 that really stick out and sit with me. About 3 weeks ago, there was a major breach in trust when she crossed a very clearly set boundary. I thought that was it that I’d be done because that’s what I said when I set the boundary. There was grief of a family member on her side that contributed to her decision and with that I decided okay one last try let’s try and move past this.

The other big argument has been recurring. I’ve brought this up 2 times now. When we have sex, she barely touches me if at all. Despite what y’all might think about 24 year old dudes and sex, foreplay is kind of crucial to me. Obviously I enjoy it and that’s big but more so it makes me feel wanted, significant, and desired. After time and time again of not feeling those ways, I brought it up. We were probably 3 months in and I asked her if there’s a reason she doesn’t want to touch me in that way. She states there’s trauma behind oral and she was just nervous to do “hand stuff”. For context also I do foreplay for her with both hands and mouth and usually get her off 3-4 times before penetration. And that’s something I enjoy a lot. She said she’d try moving forward and that was that. Fast forward another month or so and she only really touched me when I had to ask her to in the moment or I guided her hand down there and then it was removed less than a minute later. I brought it up again. I just told her it doesn’t make me feel great when I don’t get these things. I said it feels like the bare minimum for sex and I don’t want to have to keep asking to feel wanted or touched.

With the breach of trust a few weeks ago I’m already on edge in the relationship and so we started couples therapy. I would love to ask our therapist about this but my girlfriend made it clear she’s not comfortable bringing up sex in therapy. So I ask the strangers of the internet lol. How do I have the conversation with her again? How do I approach it differently so maybe it connects better? I feel like I sound like a dick who only cares about sex but I don’t want to go the rest of my life without foreplay. If it doesn’t change, would I be wrong to break up over this?

Piano Movers Ann Arbor

Hi there everyone!

This is a long shot, but I have a baby grand piano that I will need moved from the Northville/Novi area to A2. I called the place on varsity drive, but does anyone have any other recommendations?

I’m guessing this is going to be around $500, but I was hoping this would include tuning.
