Do I need to pre-book tea houses for ABC Trek in late September?

Planning to do the Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) trek at the end of September this year.

My main concern is **accommodation**. Do I need to pre-book **tea houses** in advance, or can I just walk in and find a room each day?

Also, how crowded is late September compared to other months?
