37F | TTC for 1 year | Looking for natural ovulation advice

Hi everyone,

37F TTC for a year. My biggest issue is that my follicles are either not growing properly and I’m not ovulating naturally.

I’ve completed **6 cycles of letrozole**, and honestly, I don’t want to continue with it. It has affected me in multiple ways, and I’m hoping to see if there’s anything else I can do to support natural ovulation.

So far I’ve made these changes:
Drinking 2.5L of water daily
Taking inositol after lunch
Following a gluten-free, dairy-free, no added sugar diet
No coffee or tea (only decaf about 3 times a week)
Yoga twice a day + 30-minute walk every day
Taking NAC

A few things to note:
My vitamin D, B12, and iron levels are now in a good range.
I don’t have insulin resistance.

For anyone who struggled with poor follicle growth or anovulation, **what actually helped you?** Did anything (lifestyle, supplements, acupuncture, medications, etc.) make a difference, or did you eventually need to move on to other fertility treatments?
I’d really appreciate hearing your experiences. Thank you! ❤️

Concerns: My testosterone levels are little high, high AMH 11

Please help what can i do to ovulate and also grow the egg to proper size.

ovulation tracking & AMH (Lean PCOS + Hypothyroidism)

Hi everyone,
I’m hoping to get some insight from people who have had similar experiences.
I have lean PCOS, hypothyroidism, and a recent AMH of 11 ng/mL.

I have two questions:
1. Ovulation kits without cervical mucus
I rarely notice fertile cervical mucus around my cycle. Can I still rely on ovulation predictor kits (LH strips) to identify my ovulation days, or are they less accurate in women with lean PCOS? Has anyone successfully tracked ovulation using OPKs despite not having noticeable cervical mucus?

2. AMH increase
My AMH was 7.6 ng/mL in December 2025, and it’s 11 ng/mL in June 2026. Is this kind of increase common, or could it be due to differences between labs, testing methods, or changes in ovarian function?

I’d really appreciate hearing about your experiences or anything your doctor has told you about these situations.
Thanks in advance!

Lean PCOS + Metformin without insulin resistance?

37F with lean PCOS high AMH (11), trying to conceive for the past year. I’ve completely changed my lifestyle—I’m eating low-carb, dairy-free, and gluten-free, and I’ve been consistent with it.
I recently had blood work done, and everything came back normal with no signs of IR.
I’m wondering if it’s actually beneficial for someone with lean PCOS who doesn’t have insulin resistance. Has anyone in a similar situation taken metformin? Did it help with ovulation or improve your chances of conceiving?
I’d really appreciate hearing about others’ experiences or any insights. Thanks

Tsh spike

I am trying to conceive since 1 year and got Tsh tested in Feb 2026 it was 3.5.
Due to low hemoglobin, i started having overnight soaked aliv seed 1 hr after taking thyroid medicine (since 2 months).
Got blood test done again yesterday and now my TSH is 5.7. Can aliv (Haleem) seeds impact thyroid levels?

36M | Semen Analysis - Looking for opinions

Just got husband’s semen analysis back. Main numbers:
Volume: 3.5 mL
Sperm concentration: 60 million/mL
Rapid progressive motility: 35%
Non-progressive: 30%
Immotile: 35%
Morphology (normal forms): 4%
RBC: 3–4
Pus cells: 2–3

Everything else was within the lab’s reference range. Does anything here stand out, especially the 4% morphology and the RBC/pus cells? Should I be concerned or is this generally considered a good report?

TTC for 1 year - lack of cervical mucus

37F TTC since 1 year.

One thing I’ve noticed is that I have almost no cervical mucus anymore, especially around ovulation. In my 20s, I used to have plenty of egg white cervical mucus, but now it’s either completely absent or there’s very little.

Has anyone else experienced this and still conceived? Could the lack of cervical mucus be contributing to not getting pregnant, or is it more likely just an age-related change?

For those who dealt with this, did anything help improve cervical mucus or make a difference?

I’d really appreciate hearing your experiences. Thank you!

Ttc > 1 year

Looking for advice from anyone who has been in a similar situation.

I have lean PCOS and hypothyroidism (on 37.5 mcg medication), and we’ve been trying to conceive for over a year. I’ve completed 7 monitored Letrozole cycles, including 2 trigger shots.

The treatment appears to be working—I developed mature follicles, had a good endometrial lining, and confirmed ovulation after the triggers. My HSG showed both tubes are open, and my husband’s semen analysis is within normal limits.

I also have a 6*4mm (rice grain size) endometrial polyp in uterus (not growing as per scans from
Past 1 year)

Despite confirmed ovulation and timed intercourse, I’m still not pregnant.

Dont know if i should keep trying with letoval, or is IVF generally considered the next step. Planing for iui after 1 month.

I’d really appreciate hearing experiences from others with PCOS and similar test results

Note: the doctor did not find the polyp to be concerning because it is not blocking the tubes or anywhere the implantation cld be impacted.
The polyp is pedunculated (location as per its medical name)

HSG at Cloudnine

I had a very disappointing experience at Cloud9 Hospital, Sarjapur Road, during my HSG test with anaesthesia consulting Dr. Aruna Kumari.

My doctor’s appointment was at 12 p.m. and the HSG test was scheduled for 12:30 p.m. After the consultation, I completed all the required pre-anesthesia tests and checkups by around 1 p.m. The doctor then informed us she would be taking a break from 2:30–3 p.m. and instructed the staff to prepare me for the procedure.

I was admitted around 1:30 p.m., and by 2 p.m., a catheter had already been inserted into my hand. Naturally, I assumed the procedure would begin soon. Instead, I was left waiting with the catheter in place for nearly 3 hours, with no communication from the doctor or staff about the delay.

After repeated follow-ups and complaints, the doctor finally arrived around 5 p.m., and the staff casually mentioned that she had gone for lunch.

The lack of communication, poor coordination, and making a patient wait for hours in that condition was extremely stressful and unprofessional. I would not recommend this experience to anyone considering treatment there.
