Why did the Grammys send out a statement on Friday saying they were going to make changes to the Asian category for 2027, and then not say anything else about it?

There are only two days left for artists to submit their music for the 2027 Grammys. Where are the changes? lol

If H&G is supposedly such a terrible company, then why did they allow Manon to attend Fashion Week?

She literally just attended the Jacquemus show, she's still under contract with H&G, and they still approved her appearance at such a high-profile public event. They probably even provided her with a makeup artist and stylist. Meanwhile, her almost 30 year old boyfriend and her friends were busy leaving hateful comments on KATSEYE's Instagram. That's the part I don't understand. The members of KATSEYE are constantly working, promoting, rehearsing, and performing, yet they keep receiving so much unnecessary hate. At the same time, Manon is living her life as an influencer, hanging out with her friends, and in the end she's always the one who gets sympathy and support. I genuinely don't understand why people keep painting her as the victim when H&G clearly still supports her enough to let her attend events like Fashion Week.

Katseye's Sophia Laforteza Lead Dreamworks Animation's 'Forgotten Island' Soundtrack

The film features a remixed version of INXS’ classic “Never Tear Us Apart,” sung by Katseye’s Sophia Laforteza, for an emotional moment between the two friends.

Leus explains that the INXS tune was important to the filmmakers and encapsulated the relationship between Jo and Raissa. “It was important for us to use the original INXS recording because it signified their friendship as young girls. But as you see them grow, that’s where the idea to bring in Sophia Laforteza from Katseye — who’s a badass — came from. She put a new twist on it to signify the evolution of their friendship,” Leus says, adding: “The song parallels their friendship and captures the journey from where they were to what they become.”

Yoonchae is a millionaire thanks to KATSEYE.

I was reading some KATSEYE hate on Twitter the other day, and one argument I kept seeing was that Yoonchae would have been better off debuting in a traditional Korean group because she would have been more "protected."

Personally, I think that's a pretty strange argument. If anything, Yoonchae is probably extremely happy that she debuted in KATSEYE. People keep acting like this was some terrible outcome for her when, realistically, it has been the complete opposite.

Financially alone, debuting in KATSEYE was an incredible opportunity. Between brand deals, music revenue, album royalties, touring, and everything else, I wouldn't be surprised if the members have already earned more than many idols in smaller Korean companies ever will. We're talking about a group that's only been active for around two years.

If Yoonchae had debuted in a random Korean company, there's no guarantee things would have worked out nearly as well. Plenty of idols debut every year and never become financially stable. Some groups disband after a few years, and many idols end up leaving the industry altogether because they simply can't make a living from it.

Meanwhile, KATSEYE is backed by major companies, has global exposure, and still seems to have a lot of room to grow. Whether people like the group or not, it's hard to argue that Yoonchae would be in a worse position today because of her debut in KATSEYE.

P.S. I'm sure all the girls in these two years have earned more than a million dollars.

I feel like Yoongi doesn’t want to continue with BTS and isn’t enjoying this tour.

Am I the only one who gets that feeling? Ever since the tour started, I haven’t really seen any videos of him enjoying himself, and if I have, it’s only been one or two. I feel like he’s been dissociating for the past month. I don’t see him enjoying it the way he seemed to enjoy his solo tour. Maybe he’s just less expressive than the others, or maybe I still don’t fully understand his personality and he’s actually having an amazing time lol

The girls are on vacation.

The girls have gone back home, Sophia has her location set to the Philippines, and they have a few vacation days before the VMAs. What excuse are the people boycotting them or insulting them on Twitter going to use now with their fake concerns like “they can’t work so much, they need to rest, they should disband if Manon isn’t there,” blah blah blah. I’m so tired of that fake concern lol.

Why? 😩

Can someone explain to me why Katseye never has vlogs like the ones that group is uploading? Literally people would love to see katseye posting that kind of content, but that company only uploads vlogs of them once every 80 years, and on top of that they’re all just one- or two-minute clips. I’m getting annoyed and they haven’t even debuted yet.

Am I the only one who thinks this?

I feel like Manon always thought she was above everyone else, and that the ''K-pop'' (katseye is like kpop) world was just for nerds lol
