Just went to have labs drawn and the clinic is closed. No signage. Called another lab at the hospital, just a recording as to hours and no notice they're closed. Called Bainbridge, same thing. There were 6+ people trying to get labs drawn this morning. Some signage would have been nice and professional!

If you live in Poulsbo Place, you likely received notice of a new application for the empty lot next to the post office. The public comment period opens 6/26 and goes through 7/10.
This latest iteration (called The Nora and Valari) features two, four story buildings with a total height for the building on 3rd Ave at 116'. (Height plus sea level and grading)
The two buildings would include 84 apartments, 1400 sq ft of retail space, and 140 underground parking spaces.
This will definitely negatively affect those with a view on the streets off of 4th Ave (bill block views below this height) as well as being taller than anything else in the Poulsbo Place neighborhood area.
In addition, the building that would face Jensen has a flat roof and would be the only non gabled roof in Poulsbo Place and surrounding buildings, so looking down on this would be similar to the roof of a big box store.

Has anyone else noticed the seemingly abandoned boat on a trailer on 3rd between Jensen and Iverson? There is also a nice travel trailer parked behind it. Neither are hooked up to vehicles and have both been parked in the same spot since at least Saturday. It’s illegal to park a trailer or boat on a street (not attached to a vehicle) and leave it there. Also, the boat is out or Oregon and has expired registration and no license plate. Calling the city today.
I’m looking for an attorney who can create multiple Transfer on Death designations - for out of state farm land, as well as mineral/oil leases. The owner lives in WA State, and the property is in Kansas. I do have an attorney in Kansas willing to answer any questions a local attorney might have, but they are unwilling to create the TOD’s.
Was at Goodwill today and saw a chair… looked closer and it was a Herman Miller Aeron. Priced at $12.99. In very good shape! And I received 20% off since it was senior discount day.
