Friend doing business in Texas just had to sign a document that stated he couldn't boycott Israel.

They had to sign a document that basically said that they couldn't boycott Israel. It's called Texas house bill 89.

Texas House Bill 89 (HB 89) is a prominent 2017 anti-BDS (Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions) law that prohibits the state from contracting with or investing in companies that boycott Israel. Passed by the 85th Texas Legislature, it requires state contractors to provide written verification that they do not and will not participate in boycotts against Israel.
