Feels like the current state of global affairs but we’ve been here before and we shall overcome once again.

First time I’ve seen this word. I’m reading it more as virtue rather than weakness looks like it could be either curious how you’d use it.

What gets me about this one is how the Latin ‘vicissim’ literally just means ‘in turn’ pretty neutral. Somewhere along the way English loaded it up with this sense of unwelcome change. Curious when that shift happened.
