Vocabulary builder by Neologics iOS app

Hey everyone,

I put my heart and soul into this latest update for Neologics 1.60.4 and I’m really proud of how it turned out.

Just a heads up it expires at midnight on the 12th CST, so double-check it’s still active before you confirm.

Would genuinely love any feedback you have. This one meant a lot to me. 🙏

Obdurate

You all seemed interested in words with odd dichotomies, so here’s another one. Obdurate seems neutral on the surface but sways more negative in use.

Word of the day: Uxorious

First time I’ve seen this word. I’m reading it more as virtue rather than weakness looks like it could be either curious how you’d use it.

What gets me about this one is how the Latin ‘vicissim’ literally just means ‘in turn’ pretty neutral. Somewhere along the way English loaded it up with this sense of unwelcome change. Curious when that shift happened.
