I used to have a 50 EVH Stealth head. I was told by many that it was best for metal tones.
I now have a Marshall 410h and I'd take the OD channels all day over the EVH Stealth.
Just saying. I don't know how anyone would complain about these OD channels straight with no pedals. All the tone I would think anyone would need.
That's like I said, with no pedals at all. OD 1 justs kicks ass.
I'm trying to put together my first home studio and I was planning on using my Laptop. It's an HP Omen with 32GB Ram, and an I7 Core.
I've since watched a few videos claiming that Windows if awful and problomatic for Music recording.
I hate the thought of having to come up with another $2,000 for a base cheap Mac.
My interface is a Focusrite 4I4 and I plan on using Protools.
Is Windows usable for me or is Mac worth the extra$$$?
Are they any good? Does anyone have any experience with them. I can't get anywhere to try one to play. I would have to buy online.
