I just got an Evil Twin with Sustaniac Neck pickups and not sure how to play with them. Do I have to mute every string not being used? Unmutted strings start to hiss even when it's just sitting in a guitar stand unplayed. I have to turn off the sustain feature.
Is this normal or is there something wrong?
So I have a Marshall 1936v 2x12. They come with two G12 vinatge Marshall speakers which as I understand is a Vintage designed for Marshall with more of a mid thing going on.
I'm thinking, as you can see, of swapping out one of the marshall G12 vintage with a Celestian V30. They're both 16 ohm speakers so that will work.
Any opinions on if this is stupid or not?
Can't I kinda get the best of both worlds in that I'll have one Marshall Vintage and one Celestian V30?

My wife and I got tickets for GNR in August and just figured out that Publlic Enemy is openning for them. WTF?!?! Nothing against Hip Hop but We're not fans of the music. We expected a Rock show, not Hip Hop. We feel slighted.
Axl is a big fan... I get it. But GnR fans are not.
We're planning on showing up late now because we don't want to deal wirh Public Enemy. We usually love to show up early for openning acts... not this time.

I used to have a 50 EVH Stealth head. I was told by many that it was best for metal tones.
I now have a Marshall 410h and I'd take the OD channels all day over the EVH Stealth.
Just saying. I don't know how anyone would complain about these OD channels straight with no pedals. All the tone I would think anyone would need.
That's like I said, with no pedals at all. OD 1 justs kicks ass.
I'm trying to put together my first home studio and I was planning on using my Laptop. It's an HP Omen with 32GB Ram, and an I7 Core.
I've since watched a few videos claiming that Windows if awful and problomatic for Music recording.
I hate the thought of having to come up with another $2,000 for a base cheap Mac.
My interface is a Focusrite 4I4 and I plan on using Protools.
Is Windows usable for me or is Mac worth the extra$$$?
Are they any good? Does anyone have any experience with them. I can't get anywhere to try one to play. I would have to buy online.
