Did I do something wrong?

Hi there! Well I saw that I had low wishlists (around 50) and my game was on a good early stage to already drop a little demo on itchio before dropping a bigger one in Steam. Now the problem is.... Absolutely no one downloaded it! Should I market the demo too, and if so how? Or did I make a mistake by dropping it too soon?

My game is called FROM THE DUGOUT

Is it good enoug for publishing? And/or what would you change?

23 wishlists without any marketing

Hello there! We almost havent done marketing since the game is in a very very early stage but we are amazed to see already 23 wishlists. The goal is to get around 10k wishlists before launching the game in 2027, any advice on how to market that?

You can check the game out on Steam, the name is: FROM THE DUGOUT

I want to create an interactive pixel art map

Hi, for my project "From the Dugout" I want to create a cool interactive pixel art map. A city with buildings and places which you can click and "enter". I know how to code it and how to make a simple map, but I asked myself if there are any cool tools or softwares that can help in the process that you recommend?

Thank you very much in advance!

Currently creating a game with help of AI some questions that arise

I am using AI to support my work and till now I feel it is a great tool for advancing as a solo dev. But I have heard and seen that many people are very anti AI, which I must say I do not understand. It is just another new tool, if the game is good or even better than others why is it a bad choice for developing the game? I understand that if it is almost not a polished game it feels like a scam for the player, but as a solo dev with help of AI you can make amazing games with still a lot of work and a high quality.

I am really interested on your point of view! :)

Creating a FM game with lifesim choices

Hey there! As a football manager fan (in general for any managing game) I always saw a huge potential in creating a very different type of manager that merges managing, life sim and choices. I am very very early in development and since it is my first game it will be for sure under 10 dollars (planned for 2027)! I would love that some of you take a look at it and give me honest opinions on it! Thank you very much :)

PS: My game is called "From the Dugout" (you can wishlist it on Steam
