Presbyterian Church in Egypt !!!!!

, an Egyptian atheist from a Christian background died. Since 2012, he had been insulting Christ in dozens of posts daily, calling him an adulterer and accusing Jesus' mother of adultery. Imagine, the Presbyterian Church in Egypt held a funeral prayer for him, the same man who called us like excrement and mocked us. What kind of false love is this? I come from a Muslim background and believed in Christ because I've loved him since childhood, but I live in a Christian culture that only two types of people like: those who lick the boots of Muslims or atheists. Sadly, the priests in Egypt today teach liberal theology; everything is symbolic. The priest told me that Christ might be a figment of God's imagination, not a real person. I left Christianity some time ago, not because I have a problem with it, but because I haven't found any believers around me. Every day I cry more than the last. I'm exhausted. I'd like to hear your opinions on praying for such a lowly person.

I hope you read my message and reply to it.

"Perhaps this is the last door I knock on, as I have failed at everything. My friends, I am an ex-Muslim from Egypt. I read about Christianity in 2020, but my rejection of it was due to the Coptic Church. It is an extremely sycophantic church; they praise the Prophet of Islam under the pretext of love, and they build mosques under the pretext of love. Imagine that they waive the rights of Coptic women who have been raped or burned alive, all in the name of love. Conversely, the church rejects Christians from a Muslim background. Priests hand us over to the police under the banner of 'submit to the governing authorities.' It is a puppet church that resembles a security apparatus; the clergymen resemble certain Orthodox clergy during the Communist control.

It didn't stop there. Last year, when I was at the Evangelical Church, my friend told me that her friend went to a priest asking to be baptized, so he informed her father, who then burned her alive. The priests and Christians here resemble Judas; I could not tolerate the bootlicking of Muslims. What attracts me to your Church is that it resisted the Fatimids, the Ottomans, and the Safavids, and believes in armed defense. We saw this in Romania, Georgia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Moldova, Macedonia, Montenegro, Ukraine, Greece, Russia, Belarus, Abkhazia, Cyprus, Albania, and Bosnia. You even resisted Communism and the Soviets.

On the other hand, Evangelicals and Catholics in Egypt lick the boots of someone else: atheists. Their churches in Egypt teach that the creation story is symbolic and that everything is symbolic, even the resurrection of Christ. The pastor in the Bible study class in my city told me that it is possible Jesus was a figment of the disciples' imagination—they were imagining God, so there is no issue with the hypothesis stating that Christ is a myth!!!!!!!!!!! Yesterday, the Presbyterian Church in Egypt held a massive funeral service and declared 'blessed' the most famous atheist in Egypt, who had insulted the Virgin Mary and described her as an adulteress, and posted a picture of his nocturnal emission on the pages of the Holy Bible. The filth and defilement in Egypt have surpassed everything, between licking the boots of the atheist and the Muslim.

I have distanced myself from the church and Christ. I want to hear your opinion. I wish to hear the opinion of Chalcedonian Orthodox Christians; I feel that you are different, especially since most of your countries are highly conservative."

"I lost my faith in God and left Him because of the compromises with the world by the churches in Egypt. What is the solution? clothing.

"I lost my faith in God and left Him because of the compromises with the world by the churches in Egypt. What is the solution? The Christians of my country are of two types: either they compromise with Islam, meaning they are Muslims in Christian clothing, or they are atheists in Christian clothing. What is the solution? In your countries, the atheist declares it openly, but in our country, liberal theology is what is prevalent among Catholics and Protestants, and the Orthodox are Muslims. What is the solution? I am weary. Pray for me."

Former Muslim, then Christian, then Atheist

First of all, I would like to tell everyone here: please read my message, because it is a message from someone whose faith died because of Christians. First thing, I love American Evangelicals very much, no matter their denomination, and I love Western Christians. I was born a Muslim and left Islam after a long search, but unfortunately, I left Christianity as well because of Christians in Egypt. They are completely different from you. You are men from all denominations who launched armed revolutions and brought down Muslim rule in Spain, Portugal, Southern Italy, and France. Even Eastern European Orthodox brought down the Fatimids, the Safavids, the Ottomans, and the Soviets.

In Egypt, the matter is completely different. Throughout history, the Church allowed Islam to conquer the country and suppressed Christian revolutions until Egypt became the largest Islamic country in the Middle East. Unfortunately, this contagion was passed down to every Christian here from their church. Whenever I talked to a Christian here about evangelism, they would tell me about "the wisdom of serpents" and that it is not permissible. On the seventh of October, the Copts in Egypt were cheering for the rockets falling on Israel and for the rape of Israeli women.

When I entered the church, I was subjected to harm by Christians in reality. If a new Christian comes to the church, the priests report them and hand them over to the police, believing this is "the wisdom of serpents" and submission to authorities. In reality, they are excluded from positions. When you tell them to seek help from the West, they say, "The West consists of adulterers and homosexuals, Muslims are better," and that they must not rebel. The army slaughtered them 16 years ago, yet they went out to thank the army. Their justification is: "Submit to authorities" and "Whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also."

There are thousands of new Christians who were killed, tortured, and arrested because they were handed over to the police by the Copts. Before I left Christianity last year, I was in a church, and I had a friend who loves new Christians—which is a very rare exception. She told me that when her friend asked a priest to baptize her, he kicked her out and informed her father, so her father burned her alive. This is one tragedy among thousands of tragedies. They forbid evangelism and pride in faith.

Because of what I saw from them, I threw all that behind my back. What made me think about Christianity again is that the 3 billion Christians are not like this, and you are among them. What is Jesus' opinion on the Copts and what they are doing? Does He want evil rulers to govern and control the world, or does He want the truth, as He says? Tell me everything. I love you because you are men and not cowards. The problem is that the Copts who are not like this inside glorify the pagan Pharaohs, visit their temples, and believe in liberal theology. It is either this or that, and both sides are anti-Semitic, anti-Western, and hostile to new Christians.

A letter from an Egyptian woman, a former Muslim and also a former Christian. I am a Muslim by birth. I left Islam after studying all its sects, then converted to Christianity, and subsequently left it as well.

I will explain to you my life in Egypt, what the Coptic Church is, and who the Copts are across all their denominations. They reject anyone from a Muslim background. When a Christian from a Muslim background approaches them, the priests report them. Leaving one's religion is considered apostasy—a crime in the Islamic world, including Egypt—and this is also how most Copts behave in reality. You will hear about a very strange kind of Christianity. The most important text for the Copts is the one where Jesus talks about "the wisdom of serpents." They interpret handing over new Christians and informing their families as a form of this "wisdom of serpents."

Last year, before leaving Christianity, I was at a church, and a friend of mine—a Copt, but a rare case who loves evangelism and new Christians—told me that her friend, a new Christian, asked a priest in her village for baptism. He expelled her and informed her father that she had left Islam and wanted to be baptized, which led her father to burn her alive. These behaviors are not new; 17 years ago, a bishop in northern Egypt established communication groups to reach out to new Christians and hand them over to the police.

The Copts differ from Catholics, who launched the Crusades, and from Evangelicals and resistance theology. In all their denominations, the Copts sanctify the text "Render unto Caesar what is Caesar's." They argue that this means they must hand over new Christians to the police because the state demands it, and that they must submit to the state even if it persecutes them. In 2011, the Egyptian army ran over Copts; you cannot imagine, Copts turned out by the millions to salute the army. They say that evangelism is not important and their rights are not important. The most important thing is that the rulers apply "love your enemy" and "whoever slaps you on your right cheek" as a constitution with Muslims and Islamic states.

They hate Western civilization and Western Christians, and they believe that the global Holocaust was a punishment for the crucifixion of Jesus. When we tell them, "You are masochists and subservient to Muslims," they are shocked. The teachings of Jesus appear highly masochistic, and the proof is the submissive manner in which they live. They say that even if the government burns our churches and annihilates us, we must not rebel against it or start a revolution. Yet, in their prayers, they themselves curse the United States and other Christian denominations.
