Do I still have access to some of the stuff in FIU as an alumni or no?

Recently graduated FIU and tbh part of me is gonna miss it. The clubs, Alienware lounge, library, and gym, free parking and access the the bus to North Miami. Pretty cool place to be. Makes me curious about the kinda stuff i still mught have access to this stuff after graduating tho?

How do i start with roughly 1.5 grand a month?

Hi this is my first time posting here so sorry if im using the wrong flair

I have recently finished paying off my last semester at university before graduation. Its a good feeling to finally be free of school soon.

I recently got a part time job a few months back, been using it to pay off my tuition for this semester, and now that I have I'm wondering what I can do with this money. I earn around 1.5 grand a month, maybe some if I pick up some extra shifts.

I still live with my parents, and will have to for the foreseeable future, have agreed to kick in roughly half of my paycheck a month for rent and to carry my weight. The other half would mainly be split between my hobbies (my hobbies are pretty inexpensive, no more than 100 dollars a month at most) and investments.

I'm mainly looking to see what i can do to make my money work for me. I am planning on putting in some index funds, but any advice on what more I could be doing would be greatly appreciated. Or should I focus on cutting down my student loan and credit card debt first?

Good places to learn how to dance in Kendall

Always wanted to learn how to dance, but was too shy or nervous, but now that I'm a bit older thought it was worth learning. So does anyone know a good place in the Kendall area to learn how to dance? Doesn't have to be bachata, it can be any type of dance.

What to do on a Friday night as a nerdy guy?

Just woke up after doing an early morning shift and you know what I realized? I need to go out and meet new people, have fun. Haven't had a date or gone out in a little over 3 months cause of adjusting to my new job and the course load for my last semester over at FIU. And I'm sick of staying home all day.

Next couple of weeks are going to be packed cause of a hectic work schedule and finals ramping up at FIU, so tonight might be my last time of even entertaining the idea of going out lol.

I'm a nerdy/alt guy, so nerdy/alt stuff is preferable but not necessary cause im open minded and like to explore new stuff. I'd prefer if it were something close by to kendall amd the surrounding areas cause I don't want to spend too much time driving, plus I might go drinking later and don't want to make it too hard for my parents/friends to pick me up afterwards lol. But I'm fine with driving to places near FIU too. Someplace that'll be fun to meet new people, maybe even meet someone if my lucks is good lol.

Any suggestions?

Where do I get my cap and gown and the ring for graduation?

So with any luck I'll be graduating this summer, but I have no idea where to get the cap and gown plus the ring. Last time I did anything like this was for my highschool graduation. So I'm a little lost. I know there's a table at MMC where they hook you up with the stuff, but is there a website I can use?

So this summer is my last semester at FIU, and I'm trying to find out how to get tickets for commencement/graduation.

Does anybody know when the tickets will start to be sold for summer or am I too late?
