I have recently got my ps5 and I have tested it out works fine so I have tested it 2 different places I have pluggee and unplugged the cable 2 time (hdmi) one now my ps is packed in box will. Open in nov so is my ports fine or get damaged I don't wanna test them now I have taken some pics maybe my ocd is on peak or how many times you guys have changed it hdmi cable moved it is it fine or will. It cause any issue in fut like plugging and unplugging normal usage?

I’ve been wondering how the PS5 holds up after 1–5 years of regular use, especially for people who use it daily. I’m trying to understand the real-world durability of the console, not just the official specs.

A few questions for long-term owners:

How long have you had your PS5?

Is it still working perfectly with no issues?

Do you keep it vertical or horizontal, and have you noticed any difference in cooling, noise, dust buildup, or stability?

How durable has the HDMI port been? Any loosening, signal issues, or damage from reconnecting cables?

What about the power (AC) port? Does it stay firm after many plug/unplug cycles?

And for people who use the front USB-C port a lot (charging controllers, SSDs, etc.), has it remained tight and reliable?
