Chronically ill kid, school options??

I have a 4 year old with severe asthma that tends to get sick a lot more frequently and severely than her peers.

I had to pull her out of daycare for 2 years while her body recovered from a really brutal time of hospitalizations.

She just started Pre-K 4 at a public school and already she's down with a cough and has missed 3 days of school. Luckily Pre-K 4 absences don't really affect her in the long run.

My question is....any moms deal with kids like this?? How do you manage?? My work life is flexible so I can work remotely whenever I need.

I'm wishing there were hybrid school options as well. I can't homeschool and don't have a desire to, but worried her health will hinder going to school full-time.

Has anyone dealt with something similar or found solutions?

Chronically ill kid, school and work balance

No wonder men dominated the workplace

100% single mom to a 4 year old. Recently promoted to global executive. Career life: amazing. Mom life: I'm trying so hard and think I do great most of the time. Personal life: our neighborhood is where my friends are, and I can only hang on weekends. Fitness: lol. Glp1 is helping.

MY HOUSE IS A DISASTER. I can't keep up. I've never had this problem before but since I moved up at work I have zero time or brain energy left to clean. I'll be able to get a cleaning service in the fall. But I feel like I need someone every day to help me pick up.

I'm not sure if this depression or burnout or both. Every day I think to myself: ah ...men. no wonder they climbed so high ...they had wives that stayed home to do it all.

6sense.....does not seem worth it

So we were kind of suckered into 6sense…spent $1M+ on all of the bells and whistles. We had only 2 employees in our whole enterprise who used and set up 6sense and refused to let anyone else touch it. They promised everything was set up correctly and working and would bring it up in every board meeting, etc. They ended up being let go, and then finally us in marketing and the SDR’s, sales enablement teams could get our hands on it.

We found that actually nothing, in a whole year a whole million dollars, nothing had actually been done. The keywords that were uploaded were atrocious, no ICP’s, the segments were all wrong, no campaigns had been launched (thank God). Its taking a huge group efforts of digital marketing, sales enablement and sales to put it all together to work for our business and GTM strategy and campaigns.

I honestly feel like its so overhyped. It doesnt connect to Salesforce Marketing Cloud, so we cant connect our email campaigns to the platform. Connecting ads just seems like an extra step. We pull high-intent lists for our google ads so that would help. The audiences and segments it pulls isnt really that great or as well fit as it was advertised.

I can see the worth if it was significantly cheaper. I see the value for our SDR’s, and I see the value of targeted lists for our ABM strategy. I just…..am more frustrated than impressed.

Good mechanic in Dallas city limits

I need to replace my alternator and most places won't let me buy the part and bring it in.

Does anyone know of a good mechanic who installs parts you buy yourself?

It needs to be in Dallas proper. I don't care if it's a hole-in-the wall joint. I'd like to build a rapport and have someone be "my guy".
