so my original plan was to only audition for music city. but my dad also wants me to audition for carolina crown because fort mill is a lot closer to me than nashville. im new to dci and havent auditioned before. i plan to audition on bass drum for both groups. what should i expect?
maniacally heavy, pink and white, great for practicing (or rehearsals if you’re insane like me). innovative percussion shane gwantley snare sticks and a shit ton of tape if you want to make them
i plan on auditioning for music city this year. the goal is either bass 5 or drum set, and i have a few questions. 1) do you get to choose which bass drum you audition on or is it not a choice? 2) how many people usually audition for bass drum? 3) is it really difficult to get in on either bass drum or drum set? these are the main questions i have for now

hi everyone. i’ve recently picked up subharmonics as a skill im trying to learn (i want to sing lower) and i've got the basic technique down, but im struggling to project the note to make it louder. if i try to add more volume, i just go back to the natural note. any advice on how to project them more?
so a while back, i started having feelings for a girl at my school. its very important to mention that our only interaction ever was when i held the door for her and she said thanks, we dont know each other otherwise. anyway, its really frustrating liking her, and its also summer so i cant even begin to do anything. i want to at least try and find something we have in common that we could talk about, but i dont know anything about her, other than that we are both musicians. i dont know if im gonna see her at any point in the day this coming school year, and besides, talking to someone you like is scary (especially when you dont know them). i dont even know how i caught feelings for her, because like ive said a million times already, we dont know each other.

first of all, let me clarify: i have heard the story a million times, dont bother telling me. i am wondering about the actual song itself. i have no clue how it was made. if nothing else, it sounds like one hell of a feedback loop, but thats the best i can come up with. can someone tell me how they got the sound? thanks in advance
