Rising Sophomore here, international student, first place I've rented on my own

Short version: Lark did an inspection of my townhouse a few days ago. Before that I cleaned everything the office told me to clean when I went in and talked to them, stove, oven, outside of the fridge, floors, tables, counters, sink. I even took a video of all of it and emailed it to them.

They came back saying the inside of the oven, the dishwasher, and the fridge weren't clean. That stuff was already like that when I moved in. I never even ran the dishwasher. I emailed back the same day and asked for ONE extra day to clean it myself anyway, at no cost to them, just so it was done.

They said no. The next morning at 11:30 they emailed saying cleaners were coming that same day and my account had already been charged $570. Cleaners came that afternoon. I'm still living here, this isn't a move-out thing.

$570 is basically two years of savings for me. I'm just trying to figure out if this is a normal thing that happens to everyone at Lark or if I got specifically screwed.

Questions for anyone who's dealt with this:

• Has Lark or any Scion property done mid-lease cleaning charges to you? Did you get it reduced?
• Is $570 remotely normal for cleaning one unit?
• Did anyone actually get a move-in condition form when you signed? I don't think I ever got one and I'm now realizing that might be the whole problem.

Title used to beat us almost daily, nearly killed me lot of times when I was coughing due to asthma at ages 1-6 and my sister many times when protecting our mother. Also extreme verbal abuse and now doesn't allow me to talk with mother. I am personally a 18yo doing really well for Indian standards but I spent my whole life studying as an escape and did it so well that now I'm in US engineering college (No tuition is being paid by him) and earning 12 lakhs inr over summer internship. My mother is naive and doesn't want dishonor to the family. how to act well in this situation and send him to jail for his actions. Also please excuse my English I'm writing this after crying for hours and it's almost 2 am where I live

Especially in US, white people always pass a smile but even if you try to start a convo with Indian the look away or just normally while shopping in Walmart they will give looks/ look away

Full ride T10 us uni, prolly staying here forever, I have extra cash should I do it
