Migraines changed?

Hi! New here but Google guided me. I've suffered from textbook migraines for 25 years. Head splitting, light and sound sensitivity, nausea, vomiting, etc.

Last October, I had my first migraine with aura (shimmering), I went to the ER because I thought I was having a stroke. MRI showed nothing so doctor said it was an ocular migraine or a silent migraine.

A couple weeks later, I had another one. Visual disturbance, I saw shimmering and once again, thought I was stroking out because the right side of my face got tingly and numb feeling. Another ER visit and MRI again showed nothing.

Then nothing from October until today.

This time, I saw zig zags. It was primarily my left eye but I saw a little on my right side. Left eye spread across my whole vision and right eye stayed small and in peripherals. 15 minutes later its over. I went to the ER again because it was different than last time. They did a CT and said its either another ocular migraine or a TIA and sent me home with a referral to Neuro.

My questions: Why am I suddenly getting migraines with aura? I've never had them before and they are terrifying. Why would my migraines change? I still get the head splitting ones but apparently a random aura one with no pain. Do auras change each time or is it a once you've had that type, you'll get another one? Is it normal to go from sparkles to zig zags? What triggers them? I was just watching TV and it came on.

Sorry for all the questions but I'm anxious while waiting for my appt.

Background Graph

Can anyone tell me what this background graph is? I see my normal one but theres always a black "background" to it. Could that be the actual heart rate?? I saw my watch register 150 at work but its not reflecting on the colored graph but appears to be on the black one.

DA else feel better

I've read thousands of POTS posts and it seems most people feel horrible on their period but I'm the opposite. I feel better, more energetic, my heart rate is lower, I deal with less pre syncope but I do have more palpitations (i associate it with a lower heart rate) I've jokingly asked my doctor to keep me on my period.

Anyone else like this or have an idea why?

DA also

The title got flagged so had to edit it.

When falling asleep, does anyone also experience hearing random sounds that jolt you awake and temporarily increases heart rate? And panic feeling?

I was just trying to nap and right before I fell asleep, I heard a random zap sound and it woke me right up but I noticed my heart rate spiked a bit. 78 --》106. Nothing too bad but its happened a couple times so thought I'd ask.

Inaccurate HR Since Switch

I have POTs. It is normal for me to hit the 160s while getting ready for work.

However, since the change to Google, my heart rates have been super inaccurate. My heart rate supposedly hasn't gone over 120 today which never happens and I confirmed with a pulse ox my heart rate reached 140 at work. Anyone else notice a big change like that? I can't monitor my condition with made up data.

Switch to Galaxy?

I have had Fitbit for over a decade monitoring my heart rate primarily. I should mention I have POTs so to me, live heart rate monitoring is super important. I see Galaxy watches have "alarms" when you hit a specific number which is appealing to me but my brother just got a watch and didn't mention an app associated with it.

Is there a watch specific app to view logs, entries, and past data? I need to be able to see my ranges throughout the day to determine triggers and potential med timings. Like could I review the whole days worth and even the week prior?
