Some suggestions for unique and fun courses

Hey all! So I've been playing some various user - made courses and have found a few unique /fun ones, but was hoping you all could recommend some of your favorite ones that you've come across, so that I can give them a go. Non conventional type courses - drastic elevation changes, super challenging greens, etc.. Ones that stick out as being fun to play and different from the usual courses.

Thanks in advance! 😁

Inbreeding...

Hey all - wasn't sure where to post about this topic, but a quick scroll through the posts and I think I'm in the right place. 🤣

Anyone else fascinated with inbreeding? Lol - I live in Appalachia, SOOO... 💀

But joking aside, the documentary series "soft white underbelly" on YouTube, notably the Whitaker family - for whatever reason just utterly fascinates me. It's one of those taboo subjects that I kinda did a deep dive on a while back, learning about the practice and how it was way more commonplace hundreds of years ago - royal families in particular, small remote pockets of civilizations, etc.

Does anyone know of any other sources /docs /videos that go deep into the subject, or anyone care to share any personal experience stories?

We have a guy that lives in our neighborhood (I live in the remote north Georgia Mountains) who I'm 99 percent sure is inbred. The eyes, for me personally - are always a telltale sign /dead giveaway. Almost reminds me of the stick on googly eyes.

The movie "The Hills Have Eyes" as well as the remake- (one of the rare cases where I like the remake more than the original) is a great representation of inbreeding, albeit taken to an extreme, for shock value.

Again, just curious on people's thoughts and opinions on the topic and possibly learning a bit more about the subject...

Call me a conspiracy theorist? 🤔

Hey all! So I've been playing the game for about a month now, really enjoying it, and I'm working on upgrading all my clubs. I saw that the CHP season 7 was only 10$, and I had already completed all the tiers, looked at the rewards, and figured 10$ was a steal for all that stuff. (which, it was!)

However... Lol.. The very next course I played I noticed something odd - the graphics and framerate were AMAZING!! I Mean like noticeably better, and it got me wondering.. Is 2k "holding back" on game quality - until you make additional in-game Purchases?? 🤣 I mean, no other TV settings or anything were changed by me, and yet - the game looks nearly 50 percent better... 🤔

Semi - joking about the "conspiracy", but I figured I'd hop on here and see if anyone else has noticed anything like this, or had a similar experience with it...

Looking forward to the comments. Cheers! ⛳ 🏌️ 🥇 💰

Albatross?

Hey all - has anyone (I'm sure they have) made an Albatross /double eagle? Do you know what holes on which courses are best to achieve this? And which does the game refer to it as - double eagle or Albatross?

Also - are there any par 6's on any courses? If so - which ones?

Thanks in advance everyone!

Question about burnout when starting acceleration

Hey all! I put Forza 3 in the flair tag, but applies to all really, I'm just currently playing 3..

Anyways - can anyone help me as to what I can manually adjust in the tuning settings to help with tires spinning when taking off? (I have good tires and compound - I'm referring to manual tune settings)

I'm using a s1 level 2000 Nissan Silvia, and I get crazy burnout /skidding before it actually catches and accelerates.

Any suggestions as to what I can tweak - tire pressure, gearing, springs, etc - is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

New to the thread, new to the series

Hey all! So I recently fell off a ladder around 14 feet and open compound fractured both my tibia and fibula while working. (painter for a commercial /residential painting company)

I am a die hard Gran Turismo fan, as well as a PS >Xbox kinda guy. (save the flak, lol - also android over iPhone.)

Over the past year, I have been building up my "game cave /man cave /game room" and expanding my console and game collection. My brother in law gifted me an Xbox 360 a few years ago, as well as a good handful of games. As previously stated, I'm definitely more of a Playstation player, but I have recently been buying some 360 games from retro gaming stores.

I have heard about Forza, and given the fact that I will be immobile for a few months, I decided to get FH 5 for my ps5. I have been legitimately BLOWN AWAY with it. While I prefer the realistic /simulation aspect of the GT series, I also love arcade style racers, like the Midnight Club, Need for Speed and Ridge Racer franchises, and I think that FH is a perfect blend of the two. Becoming more familiar with the FH environment and fan base, I have seen it stated repeatedly that FH5 is considered one of the worst in the series! 🤯 If that is the case, then I am strongly considering adding an Xbox one to my console collection, purely for these games.

With all that being said, my questions for you all are - before I get an Xbox one, how are the first two entries, as far as still being playable /enjoyable, graphics - wise in comparison to 5? Are they as wide open in terms of the amount of exploration, challenges and replay value? Or are they significantly smaller in those regards? Also, do any of you have an idea of when FH6 will be released for ps5? (I have done some research on this, many ppl stating they think around Sept /Oct this year or on the other hand, maybe early 2027 - either before or after gta6 gets released, as to not have to compete with it for game sales) What is the community's take /idea on this as far as release dates? And do you think getting a used Xbox one, purely for FH 3&4 is WORTH IT?

Thanks in advance for your input. Again, blown away with FH5 and very much looking forward to playing FH6.

Cheers everyone!

Assault Horizon

Hey all! Quick question - how does assault Horizon compare to the rest of the later series? I've read some negative things about it, but am looking to collect every title in the series. Recently played through 4,5,and zero. Ordering 6 next, but really interested in AH.

Since I've never played it, how does it differ from the rest and what are the similarities? A brief description /synopsis from actual fans of the series would be much appreciated, instead of reading random reviews online.

Thanks in advance, all! 😁

Quick question about white paint

Hey all. A while back I had seen on a thread some comments about having some pigment added to pure white - I think it was called "super white" or "ultra white" and apparently it provides a lot better coverage. Can someone help with this? Thank you in advance
