Rapco 30118 base with 30277 Camo Sand overlayed

Painted everything field drab. Got another can coming for one more coat along with a can of camouflage sand to break it up a bit.

I just noticed the MB I had put on Friday looks like the side gas ports are off just slightly. The RC2 locks up perfectly so will this matter when I shoot it?

I rattled canned my MK18 upper, lower, tube, stock, bg, vfg and KAC irons with Rapco 30118 field drab. I’d like to finish it out by doing the rail and maybe a pattern like with a laundry bag and lighter color like Rapco desert sand. Had anyone done this? Any pictures?

It started life as an MK18 upper bought off Tacswap. It was a great deal as it came with an SFMB already. I added a DD lower and a bunch of clone-ish stuff like a SOPMOD stock and BG16 battle grip and RC2 but it’s nowhere near a clone correct rifle but it is a wonderful shooter and I recently rattle canned the upper, lower, sights, tube stock and battle grip with Rapco 30118 field drab. Turned out pretty sweet. I did replace the RIS II with a RIS III temporarily trying it out.

Not a build, just a vibe. This rifle has gone through several iterations before this one, settling on a SOPMOD stock, Tangodown BG16 battle grip, SF 3 prong, RC2, TA31F with Larue LT799, KAC trigger guard and Larue trigger. Probably won’t add anything else unless I put the light and PEQ back on but for now this is it.

anyone have pics of their rifles with Railscales or VZ G10 grips? any thoughts on them?

just bought this yesterday. Awesome rifle right out of the box. Swapping out the MB today for a Surefire MB so I can use my Fireteam 556 that I added an SF hub to. other than maybe adding some ambi offset irons she’s about done

I bought this N4 17 Rival a few weeks ago and I’m going to use an RC2, SFMB and an Eotech Vudu scope with Spuhr mount that’s not currently being used. Question though; Railscales lists the XOS as not compatible with NSR rails. Has anyone actually tried and confirmed that?

I rattle canned my MK18 upper, lower and tube with Rapco 30118 field drab yesterday. turned out pretty sweet. I’ll probably do the RIS II that the upper originally next. haven’t decided yet.
