Number of foreigners claiming benefits hit a fresh high

The number of foreigners claiming benefits hit a fresh high, days after Reform promised to ban claims by overseas nationals.

Almost 1.3 million migrants were claiming Universal Credit (UC) in May 2026, according to figures published by the Department for Work and Pensions, roughly 20,000 higher than a year ago.

Citizens from the EU accounted for the biggest proportion of the total, with about half of the foreigners claiming Britain’s main unemployment benefit coming from the Continent.

Another failure to implement Brexit.

Reading a cartouche

I'm having trouble with the following cartouche. It's a nomen, from Tanis

Left to right we have from the Gardner sign list.

U6 C12 C2 F31 and one element that's destroyed

U6 transliterates as mr, F31 as ms

C2 is horus, c12 amun/ra

The look into the face part is odd because it goes both ways.

Then we also have honorific transposition going on.

I suspect the U6/mr is beloved of.

The deep cutting tells me its Ramesses, beloved of Horus?

So how should be read, and the change of direction as well

Closing the hotels

https://preview.redd.it/8l8xuwd03mjh1.png?width=1200&format=png&auto=webp&s=39776a9e94a624d5df7e986d539c45d4bb5fe9d4

Rape, serious acts of violence and aggressive behaviour are some of the crimes investigated by police involving suspects living at two Derby asylum hotels.

Officials have revealed there have been 19 alleged crimes "linked with residents" living at both the Midland Hotel and Station Hotel on Midland Road over the past year.

That's the problem.

So what can councils do?

They can have the hotels closed.

Under the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014, Section 76

76 Power to issue closure notices

(1) A police officer of at least the rank of inspector, or the local authority, may issue a closure notice if satisfied on reasonable grounds—

(a) that the use of particular premises has resulted, or (if the notice is not issued) is likely soon to result, in nuisance to members of the public, or

(b) that there has been, or (if the notice is not issued) is likely soon to be, disorder near those premises associated with the use of those premises,

and that the notice is necessary to prevent the nuisance or disorder from continuing, recurring or occurring.

(2) A closure notice is a notice prohibiting access to the premises for a period specified in the notice.

(3) A closure notice may prohibit access—

(a) by all persons except those specified, or by all persons except those of a specified description;

(b) at all times, or at all times except those specified;

(c) in all circumstances, or in all circumstances except those specified.

(4) A closure notice may not prohibit access by—

(a) people who habitually live on the premises, or

(b) the owner of the premises,

and accordingly they must be specified under subsection (3)(a).

Hotel occupants do not habitually live on premises

(5) A closure notice must—

(a) identify the premises;

(b) explain the effect of the notice;

(c) state that failure to comply with the notice is an offence;

(d) state that an application will be made under section 80 for a closure order;

(e) specify when and where the application will be heard;

(f) explain the effect of a closure order;

(g) give information about the names of, and means of contacting, persons and organisations in the area that provide advice about housing and legal matters.

(6) A closure notice may be issued only if reasonable efforts have been made to inform—

(a) people who live on the premises (whether habitually or not), and

(b) any person who has control of or responsibility for the premises or who has an interest in them,

that the notice is going to be issued.

(7) Before issuing a closure notice the police officer or local authority must ensure that any body or individual the officer or authority thinks appropriate has been consulted.

(8) The Secretary of State may by regulations specify premises or descriptions of premises in relation to which a closure notice may not be issued.

So they are going to have to pass a regulation forcing rapists on the population if they want to stop it.

Left Wing Poster Boy Pleads Guilty

Left wing poster boy Luigi Mangione pleaded guilty to fatally shooting Brian Thompson, the CEO of United Healthcare, in New York City.

So we have a left wing terrorist going down for life.

I expect that with a Reform win we will get lots of the same in the UK. We've already had one with Widdecombe.

Simon Levy

A report from the BBC about Simon Levy. The level of police incompetence from multiple police forces is huge.

The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS), the Metropolitan police and British Transport Police (BTP) have all admitted errors.

For once a factual based bit of journalism from the BBC.

Except, nothing about his origins.

Chief Constable Chris Noble

A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said: “We acknowledge the findings of the gross misconduct hearing of former Chief Constable Chris Noble, which was led by the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner Ben Adams as the appropriate authority. Staffordshire Police had no involvement in the hearing.
“The panel found that Chris Noble would have been dismissed had he not resigned for breaching the standards of Police professional behaviour to the level of gross misconduct.
“The chair of the panel has directed that reporting restrictions have been put place in relation to the content of the hearing. Therefore, it would be inappropriate to make any further comments on the outcome.

Gang Leader Immigration Fraud

https://www.cps.gov.uk/national-news/news/fake-passport-gang-leader-jailed-ps1-million-immigration-scam

Interesting case from the Crown Prosecution Service.

8 members of a migration fraud gang have been jailed.

The plot began to be uncovered from early 2024 after a man was stopped at Manchester Airport. He was travelling on the passport of a man who had been burgled in Gambia two years earlier and his passports taken. He admitted paying the equivalent of £5,200 for his fake documents and travel.

The gang would obtain genuine passports, usually from Gambia, which already had British visas in them and doctor them by adding photos of their clients into the biometric page and the visa.

The gang leader’s mobile phone contained images of 559 unique passports.

What's not revealed is where are the 559 other prosecutions for being in the UK illegally?

They have the names. They can look them up and arrest.

They have the photographs, so they can add them to facial recognition.

There's not even information about the one caught at Manchester Airport.

Now this is one gang, one country. It's won't be the only one from this country. Lots of other countries will be doing the same.

It has to end. When caught, the proceeds of crime act also needs to be used. All those caught, we asset strip them as well as deporting them.

Vickrum Digwa attacked in Prison

Vickrum Digwa has reportedly been attacked at HMP Armley, where he is currently being held following the murder of Henry Nowak. Reports indicate that a mixture of sugar and boiling water was thrown in his face, causing serious burns.

Prison napalm in other words.

His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, but he has reportedly suffered significant facial burns and skin damage.

Do you think they CPS will prosecute? The big question, is there a realistic chance of conviction? My view the jury will say not guilty

Nowak Case. Questions and issues the police need to answer.

Here are my questions that Hampshire police need to address in the Henry Nowak case.
I'd be interested in any I've missed?

I've other questions on the justice failures, government policy issues such as inquiries, and on a sentence review. This is just for Hampshire police.

  1. Unlawful Arrest
  2. False imprisonment
  3. PACE Offences
  4. Assault and Battery
  5. Misconduct in a public office
  6. Gross Negligence Manslaughter
  7. HRA abuses, article 2 - right to life
  8. HRA abuses, article 3 - inhuman/degrading treatment
  9. HRA abuses, article 5 -unlawful detention
  10. Common law duty of care failures
  11. Excessive Force
  12. Racism by the police.
  13. Failure to secure a crime scene
  14. Did they try and blacken Henry's name? For example, trawling for dirt? Yes. Same as the Lawrence case where they spied on Stephen Lawrence's family.
  15. Two tier policing, allowed for one race, not for another, is racism.
  16. What action has been taken against the officer that laughed when Henry said he had been stabbed?
  17. Same for the officer that dragging him across the gravel?
  18. Chief Constable France and his press conference. It was OK for the police to assault Henry etc, because it he was going to die anyway. He needs to resign or be sacked.
  19. Why handcuffed for racism? Where's the violence?
  20. All the videos need to be released
  21. All the call and radio recordings released.
  22. Same for the calls to the Ambulance service, including those from the police.
  23. No handcuffs for Digwa, evidence of Two Tier.
  24. Digwa gets given an option of what food he would like. Henry gets handcuffed and dies. Racist and two tier
  25. Alexis Boon the Chief Constable needs to be forced out. Resign or sacked. The top needs to take responsibility
  26. Hampshire and Isle of Wight Police and Crime Commissioner, Donna Jones needs to be forced out. Resign or sacked. The top needs to take responsibility
  27. Did any police officers involved in the case report other police officers? Section 10 of their code of ethics applies.
