Not a Driver(yet) but got this notification...

I recently opened the Spark app just to check if I was off the wait-list, and it asked for some new information & a new zone. Unfortunately right back on the list afterwards 💀

However a few hours later, I got this notification thinking I was in, but the app thinks otherwise...

So I'm guessing that this updates profile thing is a glitch or something? Which is too bad, folk could use a new app. 🥺

Favorite non-Costco stores in Houston??

Title ^^

To explain it further: I'm getting back into Instacart (first time was during COVID) and wondering which stores fellow Houstonians like and/or see the most consistent orders all day, to minimize sitting time. Not locations, just which brands. I want to be active with the app, but all I've mostly been doing is waiting forever for MAYBE 1~2 decent orders to popup.

I'm trying for a goal of $200/day, and Costco would help with that quickly ...if it actually gave me orders, so I want know where else can someone like me can at least get consistent $20 orders. Help? 🥺

(and if it matters: my current speed is 160~180 last I looked, carrying over from the COVID times... It was only 3 orders, but all from Central Market at that time)

Is Summer a really slow season?

...or are Amazon pushing for those 30 min to an hour routes so hard that regular routes are becoming scarce? Early morning is/was always the best time to secure a route, but now there's either nothing that day (sometimes 2 days) and the screen is flooded with those AmazonNOW blocks.

Maybe this is Amazon's new direction?? Don't like it either way :/

Are Quests finished?? 😨

I know I set one for this week, but there's nothing in the Opportunity tab besides those crappy $5 routes for 20+ miles & the annoying Rides Only promos.

Without the Quests, we have no incentive to take lower tier orders...

Does Uber Eats actually want us to use Maximum Cherries(picking)? 😱😰

side note: starting to think Houston sucks for all gig apps, low-tier everything; only Flex is mostly consistent 😞

At Risk for being stuck?? ⛈️

So...should we just not rollout when there's bad weather incoming? Granted I didn't know there was going to be flood rain out this past weekend, and wound up stuck at gas station for an hour while I called Support. They were the ones that killed the route, saying bring everything back the next day.

I don't think it's cool to be At Risk for choosing not to get stuck in the rain, especially as the station shut down just before we all left. (lots of lightning too) 😑

Mild opinion piece for the denizens of Reddit:

Is there a Station (.com OR SSD) you guys just Hate going to but Pays better, then also have a Favorite station that doesn't payout as much??

Well for me rn I'm not feeling VTX5 anymore, as they completely suck at cart stacking AND route organization. + parking is abysmal & they always sending you 30+ minutes away, which never guarantees you'll finish your route of 45+ single drops in time; unlike my current favorite tho, who does give you 50 packages almost every time...but you can zoom through the routes and are almost guaranteed to finish 30 min-1 hour before time. Like if their Base was as high as the other station, I'd have them scheduled all week.

But maybe that's just me, what about you guys?? 🤷🏾‍♂️
