Here is a timeline:

• 2026:
  • Boise State, Colorado State, Fresno State, San Diego State, Texas State, and Utah State move to the PAC-12
  • New Mexico State, Rice, and Tulsa to the MWC
• 2027
  • Nebraska and Missouri move to the Big XII, after conference negotiating power is greatly diminished by the Duke-Amazon move, and they realize traditional rivalry games made more money than getting beat up by Ohio State and Alabama every year.
  • UConn is invited to the ACC for basketball reasons and is allowed to bring its football program.
  • Notre Dame moves to the B1G after being strongarmed by NBC, USC, and the Big Ten
  • Tulane moves to the SEC
  • James Madison, Southern Miss, East Carolina, USF, UAB, Memphis, UTSA, and North Texas join UTEP, Sam Houston State, Louisiana Tech, and Liberty to create a G5 superleague of competitive programs who have consistently averaged 10 win seasons or made an NY6 bowl game/12 team playoff.
  • Missouri State to the Sun Belt
  • Western Kentucky, Jacksonville State, Mid Tennessee State, FIU, and Kennesaw State move to the American, as does UMass.
• 2031
  • After struggling to get 9 wins, let alone compete for the conference or make the playoff, Texas and Texas A&M move to start their own conference. Due to a moratorium on new conferences, the state of Texas moves to "buy out" the Mountain West, requiring Hawaii, New Mexico, San Jose State, Wyoming, Nevada, UNLV, and Air Force to find new homes in the PAC-12. The Texas state legislature, being the primary force behind this "Texas State Championship Conference" required that all public Texas schools relocate to the Mountain West as well.
  • Dealing with number situations at 13 teams, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Tulsa were invited to round out the league. Oklahoma declined, as its state government was anxious to bring back the Bedlam series and moved them to the Big XII. New Mexico State was allowed to stay in the Mountain West as a result.
  • USF received an invite to the Big XII to round out the league at 16, and expand its presence in Florida, after losing significant access to the state of Texas.
  • losing SMU and wanting to increase the number of annual protected games, the ACC votes out UConn, who rejoins the diminished American in football and Big East in basketball
• 2032
  • After UAB's meteoric rise in the collapsing C-USA, the league invited FAU, FIU, Western Kentucky, Mid Tennessee State, Jacksonville State, Kennesaw State, and Charlotte to bring the league back up to 12, after Memphis and UAB were again turned down by the SEC.
  • Buffalo leaves the MAC for the much more regional American

Really love these shoes. Had them a little more than two years. I wear them almost daily during the summer months in town and hiking. Just don’t love how the soles expand and wear out like this.
